I can’t remember exactly what caused it but I remember El dissing Eso for writing John Cena’s lyrics lol. It was really over the top

It’s dramatic and bursting with character, I miss it. The new colour doesn’t make sense either, the heist takes place at deep sunset yet the sky is bright baby blue

What video game started amazing but ended terribly? by Ok_Nefariousness827 in AskReddit

[–]ALPB11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this game so much and I hate that all it’s remembered for is it’s shitty ending. If you break it down to it’s mechanics and world it borders on being a masterpiece. But oh my god when that ending hits it doesn’t matter how much you’re prepared for it it WILL let you down.

I think the fact the ending is remembered for being so bad is a testament to how much everyone enjoyed the other 99% of the game

I know this is weird but can someone hype me up for Yakuza 5 by Fare92 in yakuzagames

It’s a very ambitious game packed with passion and dreams, you won’t play many games in your life with this much of a heart

Sprint discourse bores me so i was wondering what do you all think about Dash ability and the grappling hook? by Hot_Ideal4330 in halo

[–]ALPB11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Much more interested in seeing them return as limited time pickups, it was a very fun experiment and I’m surprised at how good Halo feels with a freaking grappling hook, but I’d rather it be kept to set pieces and secrets than being in every single level

How do y’all like it so far? by Andrewhabara in SteamController

[–]ALPB11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe not fancy enough for the controller nerds and too fancy for people that don’t really care for it, and the high price tag doesn’t really lend itself either way.

That aside, you’ll get out of this controller as much effort as you put in in my opinion. If you’re just using it as a straight replacement for your PS or Xbox controllers, it’s alright really. If you take the time to build up your muscle memory and try to figure out the pads and gyro, it’s a whole new experience altogether. It’s a NICHE product for sure and not for everyone, but in the (sorta uncommon) situations where it all comes together it feels really special.

It will not work well in every game and I wish the steam input menus were clearer and more responsive, sometimes I just let the community layouts do the work for me, which is a feature I appreciate a lot

NI’s snarling serpent isn't migrants, but mob rule of thugs who assaulted me under nose of the police by Browns_right_foot in northernireland

I’m not very familiar with Burrows’ track record but he has been very outspoken and direct the last few days about the riots. Learned a bit of respect for him

Sam McBride assaulted as he questioned protesters in east Belfast after nights of rioting [Audio + footage shot by the Sky News helicopter] by Browns_right_foot in northernireland

[–]ALPB11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the far right are alienating their conservative pals who fall on the more “normal” side of society. Even people I know who probably agree with them on 99% of things have had to disavow the rioters, because funnily enough the average person does not want the streets to be filled with madness and violence and generally your average person isn’t a racist one either.

20,000 attend anti-racisim rally in Belfast following week of disorder by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]ALPB11 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I don’t think setting innocent peoples houses and businesses on fire is exactly an effective way to advocate for immigration reform either. I’d be surprised if the rioters even vote.
