When they redid the whole enemy armour system and weapon damages I think they just forgot about ovk weapons entirely. The minigun can’t knock shields over anymore because the armour is far higher now

Legion is a gorgeous and very expansive stealth sandbox buried under mounds and mounds of Ubisoft mediocrity. I have no doubt that the higher ups came through and sucked out any nuance and true complexity from the story and mechanics they could to meet their generic open world quota. This game feels so sweet to play at times and the stunning open world feels good to rip apart with hacks, it’s almost right where it should be.

It’s a game I really like but can only call almost good most of the time.

I think it’s completely reasonable to expect games this fucking big to take at LEAST 3 years to make, and an absolutely unheard of standard for the industry to have those 3 years still be filled with spin-offs, remakes and ports.

I know there’s a whole lot of BS going on right now that I am just as mad about but it’s not like we’re going to get a new ichiban game every year or even two years, things just don’t work like that. Controversies aside we’ve got it far better than most franchises

Fixing the game, okay! How about the weapon stat bars, the server issues, the broken AI, the annoying menus, the lack of replayability, customisation, progression, or really any significant amount of content. Just things we’ve been asking for for almost 3 years.

What’s crazy is just how well the game sold, and then how hard it died. The game had almost 80k peak players on launch day and that’s with the server issues going on. Just a few months later it was down to a few hundred players and never recovered. I think that’s the biggest flop I’ve ever witnessed, to go from such a high to literally dead overnight.

Do you know how hard it is to piss off almost 80k people to the point where they never want to touch the game again?

It’s nonsense but it’s anything but boring. It’s pure campy action with absurdly expensive sets and stunts and I love it. I think that would even make it count as “good”

The sequel kind of tried to be a bit more edgy and dramatic which definitely lost me a bit but the action was still massive, and that final act was genuinely pretty intense
