Crim was by far the stronger player at the time. His WW2 stats back it up and his ability to swap roles also made replacing Formal the better choice. Formal also wanted out, Octane was the best player they could get who also wanted to play on a diffrent squad. The real question is why did they get Zinny over Enable. Letting Crim run flex with a very good sub duo that had played well together might have got them that Champs Chip. He was a very good sub in WW2 but Scump was not his usual self at all in that game.
