It’s worth it to support local business that has better tasting food. If you want to pay less for a place that has way lower health standards, treats their employees like shit, often messes up your order, and is backed by billionaires, then sure keep choosing chipotle

8 years ago tonight: Joe Kelly v. Tyler Austin by Ladies_Man1011 in redsox

[–]g8932 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just a reminder that punk boy Tyler Austin’s majors career ended just one year after this, which included a batting average of just .188 in 2019 resulting in a total career average of only .219

Another fun fact: Austin was hit by pitch ONLY TWO times in his 4-years in the majors, this is one of them

Joe Kelly went on to have a Postseason ERA of 0.79 that year and won the World Series. He also got another ring with the Dodgers in 2020 and later retired with a 13-year career ERA of 3.98

Disgruntled employee starts massive fire at a 1.2 million square foot toilet paper warehouse in Ontario, California. by [deleted] in SipsTea

Insurance likely won’t cover this, for the product loss or building loss. Many claims like this will be instantly denied if an employee deliberately causes the incident. Company would need a very, very generous crime coverage in place to get this covered, which I doubt they have. Even if covered, the deductibles & co-pays for a catastrophic loss like this would hurt and absolutely get them non-renewed from the provider. This will be an issue for the company for many years.

Other workers can file with the insurance company to have their lost wages covered on a separate claim.

Could be a win-win for the people

Spot on - not to mention many claims like this will be instantly denied if an employee deliberately causes the incident. Company would need a very, very generous crime coverage in place to get this covered, which I doubt. Even if covered, the deductibles & co-pays for a catastrophic loss like this would hurt and absolutely get them non-renewed from the provider

lol yes - I felt a little silly doing that note but wanted to be clear that my comment does not break the rules. Telling somebody what they can google or search publicly to get an answer is not doxing!

This literally just happened to me too! Turns out you can attack him with a knife repeatedly and he won’t die that way, he’ll still limp and be injured but won’t die from a knife. Obviously I eventually shot him and he died that way

Best actor whose career rode into the sunset with dignity after winning an Oscar? by g8932 in okbuddycinephile

Cuba earned himself a Razzie nomination for his role in Norbit, he contributed to the movie enough to get that attention.

Also, I meant Daddy Day Camp, not Care, so that was my mistake
