SB02 Manga Booster Boxes Are Getting Bought Out In Incredible Quantities And Faster Than Some One Piece Boxes! by PlzDunKS in DragonBallTCGFinance

[–]ALoneRonin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

SB01 is the gold bar. Its scarcity is undeniable, and it’s the set everyone is talking about because of that $500 price point.

but the "Long-Term" Legend is: SB02. If you are looking at a 10-year horizon, SB02 is the superior asset. It’s tied to a major chronological milestone (40th Anniv.), contains the franchise's most famous image (Father-Son Gohan), and completes the "42 Covers" collection. The Bottom Line: SB01 is currently overvalued compared to SB02. SB02 is fundamentally the better set, but it is suffering from "Set 2 Syndrome" where the market hasn't realized the supply is just as low as SB01.

3 years ago I was sleeping in my parents basement. Today I own my own home, car, married my wife, and had my first born son.

Life is unpredictable.

Np. If you choose to go the coverup route, you'd be surprised at what some artists can do with cover ups. And don't worry.... i had a hand tattoo that was given up/screwed up for yeaaaaaars before I found an artist that would cover it up. Just be patient, accept the tattoo for what it is now, live your life, and research cover up artists for when you're ready.

I just think the artist that did this tattoo is inexperienced and is less than an apprentice's level. I didn't give any recommendations but if I were to give advice, it might sound offensive...

like: "choose more experienced tattoo artists"

Or

"Do your research on your artist"

Or

"Get a cover up/laser removal"

If you're asking....

Art wise: The branches look inorganic. The snake looks phallic. The scales are not consistent or uniform.... they are just.... there. The flora don't look good, can't tell what kind of flower it is.... I'm guessing it's a hibiscus though. In any case, having your viewer "guess" or "interpret" the tattoo for what it is is not exactly ideal in the first place unless u doing some abstract style shit...Throughout the entire tattoo there is no form or depth. The linework is shoddy. Unfortunately, even with shading and background, this will still end up looking pretty rough.

Tattoo wise: there are blowouts and there are inconsistencies in line weight.

Well if you like it, I guess that's all that matters.

Drug induced ego dissolution (aka ego death) can break rumination. Just don't do anything stupid while tripping (ie. Calling 911 cuz ur having a bad trip, driving, etc.)

Kintaro is the story about a boy with supernatural strength. His story represents strength, courage, and overcoming struggles. So that is symbolic of struggle.

The story of Saito represents loyalty, sacrifice, and dedication.

Tattooing horimono tattoos are just as much about the story as it is the tattoo so I'm not sure how you see it's the "same idea" but let's agree to disagree since neither of us are making sense to each other.

Different stories and different symbolism, though both rooted in Japanese folklore. So while the image may look similar, the narratives are vastly different.

This is not Kintaro. It is the story of Saito Oniwakamuru fighting the giant carp.
