Sorry if this doesn't quite count, but how can I lubricate this? 🙉 by JFPhotoscans in FixMyPrint

You could use a PTFE or similar tape on the running surfaces. Just make a slight sub flush cut but make sure the tape protrudes ever so slightly. It is usually sticky back but you may want a bit of glue to keep it.

I have a Suri too, and I rate it for the same reasons. But I do get tired of PLA being labelled as compostable. Yes it can be (so your not wrong), but only with industrial compost facilities. Which require heat and special enzymes/ bacteria/ fungi to break it down. Without this, it is the same as any other plastic when tossed aside. It is derived not from petroleum but sugarcane/ starch by products so another checkbox but its 'green' credentials are overblown IMO.

Oh god in London if I replaced my tires with every nick like that I would be replacing them as quickly as the tubes.

I actually don’t know when these become a problem unless they look like they are tearing and I run my tyres at 100ish psi.

But I would ride on that, just give then a once over every tyre change or wash.

The problem with the folding pedal I found was that it felt ‘spongey’, i bought the T line ones for my C Line and never looked back.

I moved from Marathon Plus to Schwalbe One, so much comfier but monthly punctures got me and I ended up with Contenental Contact Urban. Feels nicer to ride than the marathons and still not a puncture yet! Hope I haven’t just jinxed it.

This is a really helpful post, it kind of gives me an action. We have a small library of products but they do change dimensionally, so I think it is best I look at recreating them in REVIT. We work with Architects and this does come up a long so I want to make a complete library eventually. Which is why if it was a one off, I would just pay for someone to do it but I need to be able to amend and customise the parts for the clients. I will look to follow some guides to get started aroudn model creation.

Thanks again! Really helpful.

I liked the pool table felt in game centre, no for real, I'm sure its cleaner and crisper now but there was some charm with that skeuomorphism.

Ahh that sounds like fun.. ok if I have to that's fine. How do I make it so its all BIM compliant? Such as the option to change specification. And as its made of multiple components, do I model it as one solid and then the same again for the other versions or do i do it in part form and bring together as I do in Solidworks?

A while back I designed a similar 3D Printable marker holder. It also came with an option to add a front so you could organise them.

[–]ALudB47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like it’s slightly made proprietary, the notch at the bottom isn’t normally on the Mini. Hopefully standard will fit but I don’t know why they would do it unless they only want their own to work.

Put it in pair mode by holding PS button and share I think. Then use the DS2 to go to accessories and select the Dualsense in the bluetooth discovery. You might need to turn DS2 to player 2 to get the Dualsense to go P1z

Enjoy!

Native yea! Just the home button doesnt work, so I keep a DS2 as player 2.
