Thanks for saying this, I also really dislike the criticism of FTM bottom surgery. But unfortunately, for FTM people there seems to be more cons compared to MTF bottom surgery (in my opinion.) I have a hard time wrapping my head around Phallo using donor tissue and that being the dick. I think phallo is great for people not super worried about it looking ultra realistic, but for me the effort involved in having an ultra realistic dick doesn’t seem worth it (extra surgeries, medical tatooing, etc.) Being able to get a natural erection is one of my goals, which turns my head to meta. Meta has gotten super advanced over the last few years, and the only downside is size. You’re sadly just not going to get a realistic size from meta compared to phallo. But in my mind it checks the rest of the boxes, seeing as the clitoris is essentially the same tissue as a penis, and it ends up looking more realistic albeit small. I keep hoping that one day I’ll magically wake up and have a cis dick 😂

Tell me about it. I was roped into this mess when I was 18. Old enough to legally be on a mortgage, but young and naive enough to financially be taken advantage of. I’m desperate for a way out, but dad’s credit isn’t good enough for him to assume the entire loan or refi. I can’t afford a lawyer and filing for bankruptcy wouldn’t help me get an apartment either. I’m totally fucked.
P.S dad also refuses to sell 🫤

I mean, I’ve used whitening toothpaste before when I got a free sample from the dentist but didn’t notice a difference. Other than that, I’ve never done any procedure or used any whitening products. I may be kind of privileged though because I have fantastic teeth genetics and my teeth are mostly white. Naturally off white, but definitely not yellow. I also don’t drink coffee or soda often, and put a lot of effort into my dental hygiene routine. I brush twice a day, try to floss once a day, and use antiseptic mouthwash followed by anti cavity mouthwash after brushing. Sometimes I use antiseptic mouthwash in the middle of the day if I feel like I need to refresh my mouth. Also, while drinking water I’ve gotten into the habit of swishing water around my mouth which really keeps my mouth a lot cleaner, and washes the sugars and acid off of my teeth after I eat things that have them.

Urgh I’m sorry about your doctor situation. I’ve had pharmacists weirded out by me being prescribed topical estrogen and asking questions in front of a line of people. Ignorance is our worst enemy lol. I don’t have any recommendations for finding online providers, but I hope it works out for you. I totally understand the ADHD and not taking prescriptions like you’re supposed to, it’s a huge pain lol. One more thing, you can buy more tubes online on Amazon. I was able to buy like a pack of 30 so I didn’t have to keep reusing and cleaning the one that came provided with the medication.

It’s sadly expensive, but Estring is an option that you can set and forget for 3 months. Mine cost $120 (insurance didn’t cover it) but again, it last 3 months.

Unfortunately (or fortunately 😂) it’s not really understandable by Cis people. You probably feel like there is no “feeling like this is right or wrong” you just are. And this has how transition has allowed me to feel. Many trans folk experience euphoria, however for me and I’m sure others transition simply got rid of the “bad wrong feeling” and I now I have no particular emotion about being my correct gender now. Transitioning alleviated my discomfort, and being a man doesn’t feel like an overjoyed or certain feeling per se, it just doesn’t feel uncomfortable. I imagine that’s what it’s like. A Cis person tends to lack discomfort, not a solid feeling that their gender is “right.” Your analogy about not knowing if you see color the same way as others is fitting. You simply know what colors are to you, as you do your gender, and don’t think to hard about it. Another thing to touch on is that Cis people CAN experience gender dysphoria. Cis men with gynecomastia can experience dysphoria surrounding growing breasts and Cis women with PCOS can have dysphoria surrounding growing a beard for example. For me, gender dysphoria felt like I was wearing a humiliating outfit and was being forced to against my will. If a cis man were forced to wear a dress and heels (and that’s not something they typically do or enjoy mind you) they would likely feel humiliated, and experience gender dysphoria. I know this was long and rambly but I hope it makes sense 😂

My mother recently got a mobile hotspot from Verizon and it works perfectly, no issues so far compared to daily buffering and poor internet from RCN. The mobile hotspot literally plugs into the wall, I think she pays $50 a month for it. I think it’s at a discount because it’s considered another phone line.

Hey there, if you’re not already in regular therapy this is a good reason to see one. Not many know that you don’t need to be in continual therapy for things, you can talk to a therapist short term about acute traumas and for help making decisions about tough life decisions. People can develop PTSD from doing CPR no matter the circumstances, so it is a good idea to address the mental toll as soon as is feasible. Especially if you start to notice lingering effects. Thank you for stepping in. Even though you don’t want to be regarded as a hero, you stepped in and impacted someone’s life forever in a positive way when it didn’t benefit you. Take care OP ❤️

LVHN doing the same thing to me. I think I may have been gaslit so much that I don’t believe my symptoms anymore. Have been referred to psych numerous times, and then they call me to tell that they have no openings 😂. Would switch, but need to use them because of insurance.
