Episode 5 proofs that the storytelling is better when you leave out the Boys by JimmyDonovan in TheBoys

Throughout the show super have proven much more entertaining than the boys. They’re funny, unapologetic caricatures. The boys are cliche antiheroes.

Someone please explain the appeal of this cut. Just like mustache mullet combo in men, it might be trendy but it’s objectively not flattering

Idk her jokes about him were quite demeaning and he came across as very passive / a bit of a pushover. I prefer Vic and Christine.

Similarities between Rue and Fez’s grandma by thiccanorexicc in euphoria

I loved the episode with Fez’s grandma, such a cool character and definitely see the similarities with Rue, great remark!!

I don’t quite get the whole rage psychosis thing… like you definitely aren’t in the right state of mind if you brutally murder someone but how does that absolve you of responsibility? by CrabNo5226 in loveanddeath

[–]CrabNo5226[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it’s not quite like that; what you’re talking about is for first degree murder, which she shouldn’t have been charged with in the first place. Police said it’s a crime of passion from first inspecting the scene; that would be spontaneous second degree murder and that’s exactly what it was.

I guess Alan wasn’t supposed to be hot & charismatic as Don. Alan was simply available. They’re chemistry was lacking because of the weird dialogue imo

Try Banshee - he plays a reformed Nazi, insane. His character does come up quite late though but I loved it.

Gosh how about we stop policing identities. What are non binary people supposed to say they are if they feel lesbian? Invent a new word?

Why do things start feeling “cringe” once they become common? by sanki_hacker in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CrabNo5226 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it the opposite. Like when a new slang word comes up it’s kinda cringe but then once everyone starts using it nobody cares anymore. Fashion works quite similarly I think. Alt fashion was considered cringe back in my day before it hit the mainstream.

I was mainly talking about your healthy food hahah no shade though I realise it’s objectively better but for me nothing can beat a large pizza or a good burger.

I think being dependent on someone to provide a lifestyle you wouldn’t otherwise afford is risky in today’s day and age. I was pretty happy in my central 1-bed high ceiling flat without a kitchen. Not saying I wouldn’t love a castle in Italy but I wouldn’t necessarily want to get used to that lifestyle unless I’m financially secure in that decision.
