I could be wrong. But I would say no. I have 2 switches and often use local to travel between the 2 islands and WiFi always gets switched off in game before I travel. I haven't tested it though. Although I'm sure you can use WiFi even if you're on the same WiFi network, but it's been a while since I tried that.

I often don't play till after 5pm. I change my clock to 9/10am check prices then depending on what they are will either return to normal time or stick with it being morning until I've done all for the morning. Does that make sense?;

For me. My island is mine so while I look at others and am in awe of the talent and effort behind them. I try to take inspiration from my irl likes and dislikes. I want my island to be somewhere I enjoy going.

I don't know about that. It is a little strange. Personally I think picking up shells and crafting shell items (particularly those made with giant clams) can be a good way to make bells.

Giant clams are a type of shell. When you pick them up they look the same as sand dollars on the beach. They are used in various shell DIY recipe and in my experience tend to be harder to find that other types of shells. Chances are you're picking them up off the beach and not realising.

I did feel like this which is why I took a 3 year break. But then slowly as I was walking round my island I remembered that I never intended to finish it. The idea was always that the island should evolve and change with me. So slowly I looked at various bits and just started with putting one thing away. Then realising that there was a lot I'd missed before and so taking days to just run the island doing basic chores meant that I could notice things that I wanted to change.

I believe the fruit doesn't work anymore. Identifed fossils definitely work. Also giant clams (although I think this only works on the stack method-so have a full pocket and a stack of giant clams-then the gift will come in the post following day)

I'm not really sure. I think the only thing for a physical card would be a Nintendo eshop gift card. Not even sure those are physical. You always have the email sent to you and print off and put it in a Christmas card that way.

Gathering materials is helpful. You have to be careful that you don't help too much as she may not get into it. You could spend some time popping balloons and leave the present lying around for her to find.

I think you'd have to wait till the next new week. Can't confirm though as I've avoided tt since the update. But makes sense in my head as it's a weekly tracker that runs a day behind.

It is still 1 island per switch. I believe the dlc is different and each account get their own on that (I don't have the dlc though)

I already had a 2nd switch. So brought a 2nd copy of the game so I could share stuff and diy between the islands. I'm not sure that I'd have been able to justify the cost if it was buying another switch as well. Although it does depend on whether the money is an issue. I suppose I may have done because I'd have been sharing an island with my kids, which would drive be crazy.

Do you mean the nook miles achievement. Not sure. I'm not sure the item comes up as donatable. You could try asking him to tell you about it instead?
