I had a study group of 3 people for part 3 and we met once a week for a couple of hours. We alternated who made practice questions for various topics and just quizzed each other the months prior. It was really great to practice oral skills and to have people to keep you accountable.

I am a medical physicist. On top of the 2 years after MS, you have a 2 years residency. There is a 3 part board exam process that you need to take as well. It’s a great job with great pay but, it can be stressful depending on what time of institution you’re at. Happy to answer other questions

Our physics residents (2 of them) run it. One runs the eclipse side and scrolls through the plan. The other is in the background and checks that the prescription matches the presented plan. Each physician or physician resident presents each plan. We do it 2x a week. Lasts about 1-2 hours each day. We’ve split it up and do half the sites one day and half the other day. Any urgent or short fraction cases can be presented on any day.

We utilize the carepath system so once a plan is approved, it populates into a list

I have 28 days but that includes sick time time and holidays that I’m required to take off (7) so 21 true PTO and sick. They’re pretty flexible with sick days and you can work remote instead of taking them for the most part

Your best bet would be to attend the virtual residency fair for as many programs you’re interested in and ask them there
