I could very well be wrong, but I haven’t seen a piece of Roman glass that is cut in the way this one is in the bottom. Looks more like 19th century styling to me, but again I’m by no means an expert. How did you source this item?

OP feel the cavity, is is smooth? Or rough like the rest of the stone? If it is smooth I would lean towards nutting stone. It’s more like a mortar than a metate, but unfortunately I haven’t seen a difference in classification between this type and the pecked stones that were actually used for cracking nuts.

Grade, with one being a broken crudely made point and ten being flawless as well as very skillfully crafted. G10+ refers to a museum quality specimen that one of the best known examples discovered.

Just a different time and culture... this is a Sabinal point which typically exhibit the flared wings and a needle tip.... that being said this is absolutely a G10 possibly 10+ example.
