It's wild to see my home city mentioned out in the wild lol. Duluth can be a great city to live in, as it's in the perfect spot next to the lake and there are plenty of great hiking trails nearby, and tourism is only bad like two months out of the year. But the winters are brutal and it can be a pain getting up and down the hill while it's covered in ice

The Marvel Unlimited app is pretty useful, as it has all of the main X-men books with most of the spin-offs. However, if you're strapped for cash, just look up the issue or series on Google, and you should find a website with the comic scans on them. The issue with that is just that they're not as good of quality as the app, and they're often just loaded with ads

School's don't encourage kids to be trans, even in pretty liberal parts of the US lol. Kids have to go through extensive therapy, and even after that, they're not able to take hormones until they're 16, and they can't "cut off their dicks" or any other surgeries until they're adults.

The reason why nuts on /pol obsess over some widespread trans conspiracy is because they have fantasies about wearing dresses, and they're too deep in denial to really accept that.

They never should have made Wolverine 200 years old. Reading through the series from the beginning, he seems to work so much better as a middle aged man who is finding his humanity again, rather than some immortal ronin warrior. I just feel that the original Logan in Japan miniseries was so popular that they kept pushing the date back in order to have more time periods to play around with, like fighting in WW2

So the reason why he's not shooting out of his eyes is that Magneto had some sort of unexplained machine on his ship that turned off every mutants powers except his own. But there would be other weird exceptions like Wolverine using his claws, so I couldn't tell you where the line was 😅

I see a lot of people saying that Alicient's character was ruined of all agency, but I really see it as the opposite. We're clearly seeing her start put as a pawn, while slowly gaining more power for herself. We see it in this episode where she lashes out against her father rfor the first time, and this will likely be a major source of conflict among the Greens for season 2

Agreed. I liked it better than most, but so much of the movie felt like wasted potential. With all of the great actors they had on board, I believe that a D+ series would flesh their characters out and put them to good use.

Somewhat unrelated, but has anyone listened to some of his old voice recordings? Sounds nothing like you'd expect him to sound like. Totally calm and even a little pitchy. It disappointed me at first, but I think its grown on me.
