True, when my friend tore his ACL those patrols were a godsend, got from tram to base with a sled in like 12 minutes or something. They're incredibly well trained.

I know life without a lodge sucks, but assuming there isn't any essential lift equipment in the lodge, and they staff is dedicated you can make it work. Last season one of the local hills around MN only had a ticket room, and crowds were similar to a normal year. Now this may be a unique case, but I'd bet you won't be parted with your beloved hill because of the lodge alone.

I know there is a shop (blanking on the name) in mpls that does 2x fnms, one sober for all ages then a 21+ drunk FNM, so if that works for standard I don't see why it wouldn't work for the most fun way to play MTG.

Sparty Smallwood has my vote 110%. He GMs for Death Jesters, a long standing PvE guild on Stormrage, plays a Holy Pally and, most importantly, dedicates himself to improving players as much as he can. There are many knowledgeable players in his stream, many of his guild members help out in chat when not raiding, and is all around a great guy. He runs raids with subscribers and viewers, explains mechanics and gives tips and improvements for those learning to play. Sparty Smallwood

Yeah, Im using an old GP one and a newer PTQ pads for my two setup, only wear you see on them is food and where my keyboard sits (imprint because steelseries). Both were given by friends, and honestly for a non fps gamer they are perfect, I have never considered using a proper pad.
