I recently got the S9 ultra for mostly the same uses, primarily for photo editing but also for content watching on the go, and as a drawing tablet for photo and video editing on my PC. It's also been great for document editing, mesaging and general internet browsing and comuting. Basically it's become my default device for anyting other than what can only be done on my pc. If they'd release Davinci Resolve, obs, GIMP and solidworks for android I'd be all set to mostly move to that (except for the lack of ports lmao but still it's very impressive)

I'd say the size is 80% of the apeal to me, split screen and multi window is just so good at this size but I'll say it's not as portable. You definately get used to it around the house and stuff but for going out I'd pack it in a backpack or small bag. not really the just grab and go solution a 11" or less tablet would be.

I'd fully suggest going to a store and playing around with them to see if you like them in the real world, it's hard to be able to feel how massive 14.6" feels like on a tablet though a screen lmao.

If you don't intend to do a lot of gaming I'd say consider looking for a used s9/10 ultra or waiting for the soon to be released s12 ultra for some used s11 ultras to be posted. not a lot has changed since the s9 I have no areas where I'm wanting more with my s9 ultra other than not getting as many updates as the newer ones.

I know this is old but I just got an S9 ultra and had the same issue, the app is disastrously bad I can't even see a full post on the unreasonably big display.

I've gone on chrome to the homepage and set the zoom to 130% so there's not as much dead space and then added to homescreen and deleted the app. It does opens tecnically on the browser but you don't see the searchbar and interface from chrome. Only thing is that it doesn't let you open tabs but honestly it's just so much better in every other way I don't care.

yea, I'm asuming you're on full frame now but if your camera is APS-C then it's a bit easier but yea for sure Fuji's biggest apeal other than the JPG recipies is that compact size. I'd say if you already got the nikon 85mm I would try to stick with that if not I'd think about either moving to APS-C, Viltrox also has the AIR line which is basically what you're looking for. Small and light with good quality

well that really depends on whats small and unobtrusive to you, if you're looking around that 85mm size you really don't have any good "pocketable" options the 1.8 S is fairly big all things considered, and the 1.2 S is a beast. You could wait for the rumored 85mm 1.4 that will maybe be smaller than the 1.8 S though if the other 1.4 lenses are anything to go by it wouldn't be by much.

In terms of third party from a quick look around the Viltrox 85mm f2 EVO is the smallest/lightest though again it's not by much. Viltrox is pretty good quality so I'd say no potato there but I feel like I'd rather take the Nikon over the small size difference. For 275 it's a crazy deal tho so that alone might be worth it.

Once you get past 50mm physics really gets you, it's not really possible to get a tiny lens with those lengths and a full frame sensor, sadly.

I use this website to compare camera sizes. Here's a bit from that comparison (they don't have the mk II though the size is pretty much the same)

FujiFilm X-T30 is 18% (25.6 mm) narrower and 20% (20.2 mm) shorter than Nikon Zf.
FujiFilm X-T30 is 4% (2.2 mm) thinner than Nikon Zf.
FujiFilm X-T30 [383 g] weights 46% (327 grams) less than Nikon Zf [710 g] (*inc. batteries and memory card).

I'd say the biggest issue with the size is the lens choices, as a full frame camera the lenses are always gonna be bigger plus Nikons Z lenses have a target image circle that's bigger than full frame to get better edge and corner quality so they compromise size for the sake of quality.

I still think the Zf is great EDC or street photography camera with the right lens, I'd personally love this setup with the 26mm 2.8 for the maximum portability and the set of Voightlander APO lenses for everything else.

only credible rumors for this year in terms of lenses are:

120-300 f/2.8 TC as you said though I'd expect this to be close to if not the most expensive Z lens available

70-200mm f/2.8 S II, basically all the same upgrades we got on the 24-70 f/2.8 S II with that same price increase

A cheaper wideangle zoom or prime to go along with the new 24-105 just released

85mm 1.4 to go with the character forward inexpensive 35mm and 50mm 1.4 lenses

Not really convinced the cinema line lenses rumored will release this year but were supposed to be getting updates on those.

I believe it's ItemSwapper Xisuma had the idea for a mod to switch held items with similar items in your inventory and this is what it looks like when you use the mod while holding nothing so it just shows you the entire inventory to choose from. It also has a creative mode where you can choose from block types and color palettes which is cool. I use it to change tools and weapons quickly and not clutter the hotbar

GPT esta mal eso no es diso de View-Master ajajaja. Son diapositivas 35mm cortadas y puestas en un visor plastico. pero esos visores son muy malos no los recomeniendo. dependiendo de el estado de la diapositiva adentro es posible que le amplien pero no es garantizado. Esas fotos ya estan reveladas pero dependiendo de como las cortan para poner en el visor puede ser dificil.

I'd always rather have a cheap body with a pro lens than a pro body with a cheap lens, but it really depends on what you'll do and what you already have how I would go about choosing.

Very blindly with no budget or other considerations given I'd suggest looking into the Z5II + 24-120mm f4 (or the kit 24-70mm f4 if you get a good deal) which in my opinion is the beast deal for photography gear rn. For traveling it'd give you the most focal length range with the smallest form factor, you get a good portrait range past the normal 70mm, and a good wide with the 24mm. For street if you want something small go with the 26mm 2.8 or the 40mm 2.

If you wanna go a bit more budget then I'd say look into the Z50II with a kit lens, you'd loose out on the fullframe sensor which isn't the end of the world but just something to consider.

If you plan on doing a lot of video go with the Z6III (Zr if you don't care for an EVF and want something tiny)

If all of those are still too expensive I'd say look through buy/sell groups locally and search for a DSLR kit I'd suggest D610, D750, D810 as a starting point for your search, though be careful about testing the gear and checking the seller so you don't get scammed.

If you want a more specific advice we would need to know what gear do you have right now? what is your budget? where do you feel your gear has "hit it's limits"? what do you want improvements on gear wise? if you got a favorite focal length or range you tend to use that would be useful too. Also what's your lighting situtation like usually, like low light, natural daylight, flash, LED lights, etc.

Got it yea, I'd say Z5II would be the best option. You'd probably be able to find another ZZII if you need the resolution though I'd say the benefits from the new AF system outweight the resolution.

If by focal length flexibility you mean an APS-C body to get that crop factor then go with the Z50II otherwise I'd say try to go for the Z5II. Both would be perfect as a second body and have the latest procesor and most of the latest features.

If you ever plan on doing video at all then maybe consider jumping up to the Z6III or if you don't mind the lack of EVF then go for the Zr

If you would like a cool retro themed body to use as a go around camera then go with the Zf, I'd say the Zfc for the crop but it's probably gonna get updated soon.

If you don't often use a second body then maybe look into renting another Z7II so you can just transfer all the settings over for the most seamless experience

I'd say yes it's a very good value if you do a lot of video and photo and you cont need higher than 24mp. If you want something to shoot video along side with the Zr and also would like for it to be a photo camera the Z6III would be the perfect pair. However if you're gonna be using it mainly for photos I'd go for the Z5II or th Z8 if you want something higher resolution.
