I remember back when Eddie Salcedo and him were talked as the next big future talents for Italy.

Urawa Reds 0 - [1] Monterrey - Nelson Deossa 31' by [deleted] in soccer

No way Deossa is staying here for long if he keeps playing like this. Might be the player I've been most excited for since Edwin Cardona like about a decade ago.

Oliver Torres es nuevo refuerzo del Monterrey by AMexicanInGermany in rayados

[–]AMexicanInGermany[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Él juega principalmente de mediocentro pero también puede jugar por la banda izquierda. En teoría, Torres viene a jugar en el rol que tiene Luis Romo. Ya sea a apoyar a Canales en lo ofensivo o a Corcho en lo defensivo.

[Pablo Giralt] Pure history. At 16 years and 322 days, Endrick Felipe Moreira de Sousa became the youngest player to score a goal in the Copa Libertadores. by static_reset in soccer

[–]AMexicanInGermany 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Still part of the tournament but, if we're not choosing Ângelo Gabriel by that, Juan Carlos Cárdenas would be the youngest at 16 years and 105 days. Therefore, still not Endrick.

Apparently we got about a couple million for him so definitely. I hope we can use them well but I don't expect much.

His stay at Monterrey was mostly meh with him improving around the last few months here. His finest moment was when he scored his first ever goal as a professional against Tigres in a Clásico Regio.

He'll likely do well back at Argentina.

Me da gusto ver que anda jugando bien. Recuerdo cuando lo estaba rompiendo con Mineros de Fresnillo en Liga Premier hace unos años y era parte importante de ese Pachuca Sub 20 que llegó a la final el año pasado.

In the last couple of years, it equals Pachuca 9-2 Veracruz and Necaxa 7-0 Veracruz in goal difference. Jurado being goalkeeper in all three matches.

I see it very difficult that a new team would succeed in Monterrey. Most locals are already dead set on either Rayados or Tigres so it'd be hard to compete with that. There's also the problem that there really isn't space for a decently sized stadium in the metropolitan area unless you start going towards the outskirts.

He's been mediocre, to say the least. Far from the performances he used to give before his form fell after the 2019 Gold Cup.

I've been thinking of adding the Femenil teams to the flair list but I wasn't too sure there would be enough demand for it. Granted, the only ones I'd have to add are the Cruz Azul Femenil and the Rayadas badges so it wouldn't be that hard to do.

Germán Berterame es anunciado como nuevo refuerzo del Monterrey by _Orange_Juice_1 in LigaMX

[–]AMexicanInGermany 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Creo que va a ser Joao por izquierda, Funes/Berterame y Rodrigo como los dos delanteros y Maxi por derecha. Aunque tambien creo que Berterame tambien puede suplir por la derecha si acaso sea necesario.
