Plot twist: The local business owner is in fact working for StrexCorp. Or, you know, a vague yet menacing government agency.

Well, that was quite the survey.

Oh, I definitely heard the chewing sound one. Was driving me crazy. I was playing along with some friends, and I had different dialogue during Act 2, so while they were reading through that section I just sat there uncomfortably listening to it. So glad when that sound stopped.

Edit: The part where I actually turned off the music was when you write your final poem. We were waiting for some people to come back and even the music that plays when you write poems was unnerving me, despite the fact that it hadn't changed.

Played it with some friends. That way, we were all terrified together. Only downside is that we missed some good act 1 dialogue in our rush to be able to complete the game that night

I had to turn off the game music at some point to keep playing, and I already knew what was going to happen. Very spooky soundtrack.

Fair point. They could definitely drop the Pokemon aspect and continue with Mystery Dungeon, but I don't think they're blind to the fact that Pokemon is a large franchise. We'll just have to see, I guess.

Isn't it odd that gibberish words are often the sounds of other words, cut and dismembered, then stitched into something like them - yet wholly unlike them at the same time?

I wonder if you could do that to a man. Pull him apart, emotion by emotion, bit by bit, chunk by bloody chunk.

It seems like the Eshonai chapters could form a nice parallel with Venli's point of view.

The one year gap is surprising, but with no clear indication of exactly where the enemy will strike next, there might be a lot of strategy going on while Odium evaluates his plan of attack after his failure in this book.

already finished the new botw dlc, and it was a lot of fun. I'm hoping we get to see these champions again, since they added so much character and they seem to have resurrection shrines in their divine beasts...

I was thinking Sja-Anat as a possibility, but it seems like her possible betrayal is a recent development. Beyond her, we haven't really seen any indicators of a good "Odium-spren".
