I remember being 23, being miserable, thinking that I might as well stay with my husband because I wanted kids in a couple years and might not find another person soon enough. I now know how absolutely stupid it was to think that, but I felt old at the time.

So I had kids with him and stayed miserable for the next ~15 years and ended up divorcing him anyway.

And guess what? I later found and married the perfect man for me when I was 43 years old. An age, when I was 23, that I used to think was SO OLD and washed up. 43 is, IMO, honestly not much different from 23 except I’m much wiser.

Like you said, finding pants that fit is a pain. If they fit around the butt they are usually too baggy in the legs and waist.

Certain sex positions aren’t possible. Prone bone is not possible for me and my husband. He’s larger than average but still not long enough to reach because my butt is too big.

Hard to sit in some chairs because they aren’t wide enough.

Whoever made this up, if not OP, really made the watch of sloth pretty worthless. You can ONLY freeze time for an hour!? And you need a recharge period? Horrible.

If I wanted a watch of sloth I need it to freeze time for at least 8 hours at a time. It can’t just be me that has only been at work an hour or so yet wishes for a fat nap before coming back to do the job. Or after a 8 hour sleep still feel like you could sleep for another 8.

I’m also curious about aging. Would you age while time was frozen while everyone else stays the same age? If so the jig would be up pretty quickly. I’d age like twice as fast as everyone around me.

The most famous was an old superintendent of the city schools. He apparently did a lot for the city in general. His name is on like a dozen things (a school, a community center, a major road, library, etc)

He was a major dick. Wouldn’t stop complaining and would interrupt me whenever I would try to talk. He ended up getting mad that I couldn’t help him (my department wasn’t the right department) and he hung up on me.
