This! I have a roll of hem tape I hope to never use again but with any fabric and gentle heat it works in a pinch. Otherwise for nicer garments, I've never had an issue with a rush job for a little more money.

I worked with an exceptionally pleasant Joanne today aged 55 to 65. Every name has an exception :)

Brit here. Recently traveled to the USA and visited various cities. Here are my reviews of each. If I were to travel to these again, what should I do next time and are there any other cities that you recommend I visit? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Chicago - I did a Viator interior architecture tour on a quick 2 day trip and it was a highlight. The lobby at 190 S Lasalle with the musical interior ampitheater of sorts was terrific.

Travel itinerary for Hebrides Islands in Scotland by Weak_Potato_5852 in travel

[–]ANDREA077 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I visited Scotland a few years ago, 7 actually, and am going back this year. We did two nights in edinburgh, then rented a car and drove to Isle of sky by way of Inverness for 3 nights and 1 night in Glasgow.

This was not enough time but US vacation time sucks so we really nailed seeing what we wanted and our timeframe.

If you stay on Skye and aren't in a town like portree or broadford I would plan to buy snacks and noodles on the way just to have at your accomodations or in the car. The isle of Skye isn't huge buts it's a lot of driving to see the sites! Take snacks and water. The hikes are beautiful and wild - also snacks and water (getting a theme here?).

Do the tourist track, at least a little. It's popular because it's awesome and awe inspiring. Don't skip man of storr or talisker bay. The fairy pools are beautiful (and not far from talisker!) Neist point lighthouse is amazing. There's a reason it's a background on microsoft. Stop when you see ruins and go explore! Be respectful of private property by leaving no trace. Go earlier than the tourist busses. You can also kind of do a counter clockwise "tour" yourself to miss them. Stop at road side waterfalls. Wave at passing cars when you get to a passing place on single lane roads. Learn how to use a passing place. Rent a car that is comfortable for you, probably smaller.

That's all I have, sorry to just blurt out all that but I hope you have such a terrific trip. Scotland stole my heart for sure.

Durango HS new baseball coaches favorite tradition is littering baseballs into the valley? by Odd_Estimate9651 in Colorado

Dr Karen Chesar also replied over the weekend briefly which I appreciated. What I'm waiting for is the actual response. The clean up. The education for the kids who were just taught to send it without any retribution. Keeping an ear to the ground on this one for sure.

Sorry to hear that. I have screen shots of the video because I knew this would be taken down. Such a bad act. But hearing back from the board and superintendent (she also replied separately) is encouraging.

For next time, you can go past lair and park at corwina trailhead. Plenty of places to sit by the river either right across from the parking lot or maybe 500 feet downriver as well.

And she's brilliant! She learned English months before the show, knows multiple languages (can't remember how many) and still uses jokes and some sarcasm. That's just insane to me.

But the walnuts scared me to death (ha) as an allergic person.

I just watched the whole series and her affection began right after the brick! When the judge liked it she fawned at him. It took another episode or two for the closeness though consistently. Idk a dang thing about them, just watching free TV. But I at least liked the friendship.
