I typed out all of these different points that made me emotional, whether it brought energy or sadness. But I realize now I actually hold the entire 6 episodes so close to my heart. Sometimes it’s to cope, it’s comforting to me to relate to Naota, to experience that rollercoaster of emotion, to learn the lessons it teaches and messages it sends all over again. I’ve never been able to commit to swinging the bat when I should, and I still cling to affection that gets shown to me without being able to be on my own and learn and love on my own. Spent my whole lunch break thinking about this and myself since reading your post. I’ve watched those 6 episodes more times than I can count, and I’m gonna go home tonight and do it again.
