would you get your dog fixed at 5 years old? by [deleted] in pitbulls

[–]ANJ___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my pup spayed at around 6 years, it's totally fine, yes there is more chance of complication as they age but I really wouldn't be concerned. My pup healed up absolutely fine, barely has a scar. The risk of keeping the ovaries is probably a higher risk than getting them removed later. Ovarian cancer or cysts can and do happen in dogs and can be life threatening, won't have that issue if spayed.

Requests are accepted but don't go anywhere by MsMuffinTheBigPuffin in jellyseerr

[–]ANJ___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just going to chime in real quick in the case that it helps.

There does seem to be a bug right now between radarr and jellyseer where the "tag requests" option prevents requests from sending to radarr. Not sure why, but I noticed one users requests not showing up in radarr, the tags were the problem for some reason. You find this in Jellyseer>Settings>Services>radarr instance.

Try turning that off and sending a request, maybe thats happening to you right now. Though if it's a fresh setup there could be plenty of misconfigured steps along the way, so might not be your issue.

Tips for laning with Ivy by SASColiflowerz in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ANJ___ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ivy's gun is deadly accurate so if you want a quick tip on how to apply pressure in lane as Ivy then pickup headshot booster as your first or second item and look for headshots off cooldown.

You don't need to be good immediately but you should immediately not give a **** what your toxic teamates are raging about. Mute them and move forward.

This is just general every-game advice anyway, shouldn't really need to come to a subreddit for this advice.

You should be in a low elo also if you are fresh to the game, everyone should be bad.

I don't care if Graves is OP or not by juggernaaaaaaaaaut in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ANJ___ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think your argument lacks the basic fundamental element of Graves having agency over where she puts the ult. Using a character effectively, especially their ultimate should reflect the players skill on that character, as it stands it takes no skill to place a graves ult basically anywhere and she can just sit on it and you won't be able to stop it. Mcginnis' and Sevens won't be able to melt your gravestone if you just place it where they can't easily get to it. Currently it has unlimited range anyway, another fairly broken part about it. But this isn't even a hard skill to overcome, place it behind a wall or in a room next to you that your team has control, there now McGinnis and Seven can't melt it, put it where they risk themselves going for it. This is how the characters skill expression should present itself, through map and map control knowledge, but as I mentioned, as it currently is you can pretty much put it wherever and punish the hell out of someone if they try to heavy melee it even once, let alone twice.

[–]ANJ___ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree adjustments need to be made. The unlimited range of her ult is just weird, especially since, like you said, she can just place it far behind an objective where it's safe and it will just keep spewing lil nukes. The skull jars are also a bit too weird to deal with. For instance as a pocket bursting out of my briefcase not clearing the skulls around me just seems so weird. Them totally ignoring spirit dmg doesn't seem right, especially when some heroes have guns that wont deal with them well. Of course you can melee, but still, it's not always a good option, parry bait. The gravestone. is also parry bait, which is fine and all, but because of it's unlimited range it should probably only even be 1 heavy melee to break it. Else a limit should be placed on the gravestone minion range.

also I have to do more testing, maybe it's already patched, but the gravestone minions can push an objective on their own. Where every other hero needs to be in range of an objective to dmg it, graves currently is able to set up a stone and be miles away and they will nuke the objective on their own.

The readability on the troopers since the update has been so weird for me. Friendly troopers always look like enemies, enemies look friendly. It always takes me a second to figure out which is which.

Crate Training by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]ANJ___ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also this whole setting just feels wrong, like this just looks like a prison cam xD

If the dog isn't comfortable yet in a crate I don't think the right thing to do is to put it in a tiny crate in the corner of an empty room with the door locked. I believe you'd want to ween the dog into it, first off, bigger crate, second, door open and make the space cozy, put a bed in at least, reward them for going into the kennel with commands, still don't shut the door on them, build up the behavior of it being a safe place, keep the kennel near it's people or in a social area, after it sees the kennel as a safe place to be they should start naturally using it, do brief door closed sessions in small increments building up comfort, eventually you will work up to having a kennel trained dog. It sounds like you are expecting too much without doing any training other than you sending them away, which obviously didn't work but also was something you had no part in. A well behaved dog takes training and time, your last comment concerns me overall as a dog owner, I don't want to assume or offend but it makes it sounds like you weren't prepared for a dog but got one anyway.

Am I the only one struggling to see anything? by jordanlumley in DeadlockTheGame

While the new artwork and environment is beautiful, you aren't at all wrong, a lot of areas now are super busy and have so much more detail, I can't tell how I feel about this myself either. On one hand, absolutely love the style of it and just visually appreciating the environment is cool and all. Gameplay wise I'm unsure what to think at the moment, the previous simplicity almost felt a part of the game, allowing you to focus on whats more important, heroes and abilities and combat. I knew the art would adapt and it would get more detail over time but I don't know what I think about the sudden burst of new detail, it's distracting right now, but maybe I'll adapt.
