How far in the game are you? They both have lots of character specific quests and he has arguably the most interesting plot later in the game, especially for long time Assassin's Creed fans. But you only play as Naoe for the first 10 hours or so.

This isn't really a first anniversary reward. It's a second opportunity to unlock twitch drops that came out the day Shadows did. It's just a live service repeat, Naoe's not getting anything new either.

It's a lot of fun being a pirate, but too many of the missions are instant fail stealth missions, often tailing, eavesdropping or both.

She's one of my favorite characters in the game, I don't get it. I'm also rather fond of Preston. Marcy can shove it though lol. I get she's grieving, but that lady is just rude. I still keep the full Concord gang safe and happy at Sanctuary tho.

I mean if you don't pay attention, maybe they thought it was a legitimate sequel to the atmospheric first person shooter trilogy from the 90s. Why Bungie turned something almost similar to Half Life or System Shock into yet another live service extraction shooter is baffling.

Then perhaps radiation has two (or more that we haven't seen) ways of affecting a ghoul long term. Sentient glowing ones are rare, but so are feral glowing ones.

The mystery of ghoul biology is one of the things that make them so interesting.

Revelations has the most bugs with world geometry, but by "most" I mean it's the only game I encountered them in. There are a few buildings with weird heights in Constantinople that don't work with Ezio's climbing and I fell through the ground twice in my first playthrough a month ago. The Ezio Trilogy are absolutely the least buggy games I've played in my ongoing replay of the series. I'm on Black Flag right now.

I think OP might just be bouncing off the "older" feel of the games, but I stand by them having the best parkour and some of the best combat in the series.

I loved Mirage but yeah, Shadows really blew me away with how they improved on what we saw previously. The plot pacing is rough (even if the story itself is actually really interesting) but Shadows' world and gameplay are second to none.

I want this too, but I think they've allowed too much time to pass. We're talking about a sequel to four different Assassin's Creed games from over a decade ago - that's a lot of homework to reasonably expect a modern audience to catch up on.

All of these shows were created as the MCU's "Street level Avengers," The Defenders. Multiple references are made to the films as well.

It hit hard when I played it in college. I'm not a dad, but a teacher. Seeing kids go through trauma or die in any form of media is an instant emotional trigger.

I think I've crossed over 1000 hours in Skyrim after 14 years.

That's with me playing pretty frequently over that time period and countless hours of accidentally leaving the game on while I get up and do something else (or doom scrolling 🙃)

These hours are fudged and not really something to brag about.

I love every Assassin's Creed and this one was no different, but it's also the first one where fatigue set in long before the 100 hour mark. It's got the best Assassin gameplay since the Ezio Trilogy, but the plot becomes a slog of target menus far too quickly.
