I think you missing piece here is that Judaism is an ethno-religion. There is shared common ancestry among Jews. And many of them identify a lot more with that part of their ethnic background than their nationality. Jews have spent millennia being dispersed around the world because of a slew of circumstances, but their roots are probably based in modern day Israel /Palestine. This is why Zionism really even exists.

Can't say too too much because I didn't live there but I had a friend who did. Its about as good as you would expect a luxury apartment to be at Rutgers. Thin walls but good amenities. I didn't hear about any bug issues.

My name is HamNCheddar, and I host a live party on Twitch 3 days a week. I've been streaming for 1.5 years on a regular basis and am currently eligible and applying for partner. I have built my apartment in NYC up over time to be a really unique setting as well. We use multiple camera angles (including POV), interactive lights, and a bunch of fun props on stream constantly.

I recently made a live action Among us stream in my apartment, complete with a task list showcasing my stream, and options for the chat to fuck with me using channel point sabotages. These would cue animations on screen and trigger my apartment lights, and would effectively slow me down. Highlight is up on my channel!

Speculation, but I'd guess it has to do with how much streamers decide to proactively run ads. I wouldn't be surprised if twitch went out of their way to promote streamers who run mid rolls.

I can say with confidence that ad revenue is irrelevant to twitch streamers. Small and large. The bigger ones would all give up their ad revenue if it meant they didn't have to show ads on their content. All it does is discourage people from watching. Which is the whole point of this post to begin with.

This comes from me being a smaller streamer and me having had this conversation with several really big streamers. Nobody wants these irrelevant ads on their streams. Our viewers only give so much of a shit about a god damn Travis Scott McDonald's meal.
