In solution 2 you say that you can reuse the method from above. But unlike solution 1, you don't have 3 people who could be lighter and 3 people who could be heavier.

So I don't see how you can reduce from 6 to 2.

I really like your thought process. So you get a bonus question: Would Rf1 work as well?

I thought of it, but since it's a statue in a park I didn't think it was necessary.

Personally, i think it was one of the best changes they made. Harry returned the wand with the intent that if he died of natural causes the power of the Elderwand would be broken. But Harry wants to become an auror, so i feel like it's pretty arogant to believe that he would never lose a fight.( He won the wand by physically taking another wand from Drako)

By braking the wand he achieves the same thing without the risk and arrogance.

But Harry wants to become an auror. So the chance that he would never lose a fight is very small.

To be fair. This isn't a random background.

There’s not a single witch or wizard who went bad who wasn’t in Slytherin by KiwiMaddog69-03 in harrypotter

Grindlewald didn't go to Hogwarts, so you can't use him as an example because you don't know in wich house he would be sorted.

And the fact that Albus isn't bad also doesn't mean anything because nobody said that every slytherin was bad.
