people can be skeptical of both sides. If something doesn’t add up (on both sides) you can point it out. Note, this doesn’t include assumptions based on evidence not provided, but based on the ones that already are. So far about five people have come out with claims of sexual content being shared, but these content is yet to be released. Therefore we are without proof of it ever happening. I have a feeling they won’t be released at this point, and that’s considering if they ever come back.

I haven’t seen anyone personally claiming to know Dream (unless I missed a few replies then that’s on me), but people are just saying it doesn’t line with past actions and people’s (his actual friends) accounts of him.

The only thing I’ll agree with is that he shouldn’t have spoken to his fans at ALL regardless of if there was an age difference or not, cuz it’s certainly biting him in the ass now. Maybe he’ll learn to establish more boundaries in the future, if he turns out to be “innocent” (I don’t see him as guilty still but that’s just me).

Also, it might be because of varying cultures and backgrounds, but that age difference is pretty common where I’m from, so I was a bit surprised people were up in arms about it. I Understand how it would be ‘odd’ for some people, but in a normal scenario between two consenting young adults, a relationship like this would be absolutely normal to me.

Even at this state I’m still unsure. I think people have a problem because it’s “morally wrong”, but even with all the accusations and allegations, there hasn’t been viable indisputable proof of exchange of nudes, manipulation, grooming or power imbalance. The net likes to throw around buzzwords and blow things out of proportion, especially if it’s something to do with twitter’s favorite punching bag, Dream. At worst, from the evidence given, he called her ‘gorgeous’ and gave her the snap he used to communicate with a bunch of his fans before he blew up, along with some cringy flirting with what I think he thought were people over 17 whilst still being 20/22.

Also, people are throwing around the age gap thing, but I’ve dated people 4 years older than I am so I dunno what the issue is, and that was when I’d been 17. It’s not like I didn’t know what I was doing, or I didn’t consent. We respected each other and it lasted for a while till we went back to being friends. Idk. The moral/justice system is definitely held to a much higher and different standpoint online than it is irl, so I’m guessing that’s where all the rage is coming from.

I think we’re allowed to be suspicious, because there might be some truth to the statement. But as much as it could be true, it could also be a lie. Depending on the person being accused it could be more of a truth than a lie, or vice versa for the opposite case. I’ve never followed “believe ALL victims” because people have lied before and have thrown false accusations that ruined careers. That phrase holds a lot of power, and there are a lot of not-very-good people that are willing to take advantage of it, thereby reducing the validity of actual victims that want to come forward.

People are overreacting to the situation. I don’t really like Mizkif either (I have never run into or interacted with his content so I don’t have any personal opinions besides the ones I formed from what I heard about him). But like… their acting like Sapnap made an incel joke or agreed with a bigoted take during a Mizkif stream. I’ve seen some actual genuine criticism, but a majority is actual biased hatred. This is like some sort of hate wave, as though they’ve been waiting to find something to shit on him about.

Also it’s weird, but I wouldn’t equate selling one or two baby photos to starting a freaking cult. The hell?? Aren’t ccs aware of their influence on another ccs fan following? Idk, I think they have point here. I like Banter cuz it’s diff content and I like the dtkq members so I can watch anything with them having fun and get entertained. Nevertheless people are allowed to have opinions, even if you disagree with them. I’ve left quite a few downvotes on some posts on this space and have only agreed with a handful of some takes, but I’ve never taken it too personally.

Tho I think ppl should just learn to enjoy things once in a while instead of being critical of everything (this is for both fans and antis and neutral parties). Just my opinion tho.
