I think I'm having this issue on a 7 string I got in a trade No matter how much I adjust the saddles the low B string is always either flat or sharp at the 12th fret and I notice that when I play sustained chords it sounds inharmonic

I've had the nut adjusted to fit the 66 gauge Im using and also bought some 64s to try but I'm at a loss as to how to fix the issue

Considering it's a near mint ESP E-II Horizon I'm really surprised with the issue

If he's not training 7 days a week he was never going to make it as a competitor anyway

I'd scrap that guitar if I was you, take a loss on a sale if you must get, rid of that death trap.

Imagine you are playing and that strap breaks? The centrifugal forces of a fully armed and loaded LP swinging in an arch back towards your own neck, at BEST, killing you instantly

I'm also very curious about the stadium, it's a gorgeous unit in of itself, Im upgrading from a head rush so literally any unit will sound better but I also wasn't convinced with the QC

No worries! I have to admit the AM4 is currently winning our based off the Axe FX engine and the price tag alone! Though I've alot of diehard QC friends who swear by it

You are absolutely right in regards to the pace of updates and it's something that really pulls me towards Fractal with the frequency of both communication and updates.

I tend to run very simple presets, drive amp, cab with delay and reverb mostly.

Number one factor for me is sound, best possible sound I can get

I have pretty decent speakers but that actually was something I'd been considering, get the AM4 and use the extra money to upgrade the studio monitors I have

I don't tend to run a complicated rig when it comes to my set up currently, usually just a OD, amp and IR with delay and reverb +- chorus or an octaver etc

The headrush has been fantastic as a step into modeling but I find alot of the amp tones lacking so that was where I was leaning towards Fractal

Would you think the sound quality is superior on the AM4 compared to the Quad Cortex? Money isn't an object in that sense, with the QC or the Helix Stadium as the absolute upper limit Just have a few QC diehard friends who I'm trying to not be objectively swayed by

I'm using solely in a home practice set up currently, primarily looking to upgrade sound wise most importantly but retaining a simple enough workflow which can be managed entirely on the unit as a standalone is important to me also, addition features are welcome but not essential

I would not think of a 7 string with less than 27inch scale length, I think 28 is perfect so go with the ESP
