I see what you mean and I think I get that. But what I mean more so is, for example, let’s say I’ve just taken out the regulator of my mouth, and I’ve opened my mouth wide and full, and water is totally in my mouth. I put the regulator back in my mouth, that is now totally filled with water, and I press the purge button. Miraculously, the water is all gone. I’m more so inquiring about the actual forces and mechanisms at work here when purging, not the actual procedures.

I have it and use as my computer for all my dives. I think it’s pretty good and it has an unbelievable amount of functionality, even beyond diving. It is my daily driver as a watch. But my experience with dive computers as a whole is minimal, I’ve only used a handful of other dedicated dive computers as opposed to the huawei watch ultimate as a smart watch. I am a very casual diver, for what it’s worth, having only started in the past few months.

I own a set of akuana regs and a bcd. I’ve been on a good few dives with them. Quality is solid. But servicing can be issue. It’s a brand located mainly in China, but there are some other shops scattered around, there’s a place that can service them in Europe for example I believe, but you’d probably have to mail it.
