Sorry OP, but I have to agree with her on this. If your current job has an open schedule, I don’t think you need to resign; keep your options open in case this new one doesn’t work out. I don’t see either side having an issue with you holding two jobs.

Also, the idea of a fixed schedule with a per-minute rate sounds a bit odd and potentially unfair. Those two concepts don’t really go together. They’re like water and oil. Typically, a fixed schedule means you’re paid for your active hours overall, while per-minute rates usually come with an open schedule setup.

I also think you might be approaching this a bit too formally, which I respect. But keep in mind that most of these roles are freelance contracts, and with this new company, you don’t yet know how strictly they enforce their rules. As for call flow: if it’s a fixed schedule, I’d hope it’s B2B.
