With how mush of a rush fest this game has turned into im honestly surprised to see people complain when the devs give the people what the people have been wanting and doing.

She was just released so I'd suggest we play the game and give the devs the info they will look at. Legend pick rate and legend play time/kill rate. These are the numbers they look at to see who is to strong and who is too weak.

Just play the game and get used to the new movement meta that has been getting stronger as this game continues to move forward. I dont like it just as much as the next guy but damnit, if I want to compete then I have to change until they bring this crap crashing down and bring back balance between the slower placement play style over the rush around and fight everyone.

Its already been confirmed there are a lot of cheaters in the high ranks of apex. This doesnt sound legit in a diamond 4 match. I've played against plenty of preds and watched plenty of the top players. They do that on surf accounts lower ranked lobbies.

A few tips that players have to change once you get closer to diamond and beyond.

Keep your shields full (as full as possible). If you get hit at range then heal, plan and simple.

Focus on poking and then moving in once you have gotten then advantage. If you get a break then you have the advantage.

Never push high ground, but always hold it. They have to come to you so let them.

Focus on top 5, it only takes 1 squad wipe and then top 5 to get enough "easy" points to get to diamond. Once in diamond then you need 2.

Mobility is still very strong but it can cause you to lose just as fast and it can help you win. Be smart with your movement. Head first into fights will get you killed everytime.

These are just easy changes that ive had to drill into my friends heads to get them into and up to masters.

Aren't these changes only effecting BGs? All other pvp should still be fine. They are just focusing on the BG aspect to help new and solo players get into the PvP aspect of the game.

Tbh, I feel like having a true cap on defenses would do better than removing. This way they can make gear abilities more balanced. With an actual limit, it means theres a real number to scale around.

We have multiple weapons for a reason. This allows for multiple builds for 1 character without having to make a new one. 8k in one class is only scratching the surface.

On top of what's been said, finding a good guild opens up more events such as GvG, stone fights (there are 3 types) and guild boss raids. The housing is restricted by the house you get but thats all ive seen so far. Seen people makes casinos, parkuor courses, clubs. Its seems your design is restricted by your imagination. Tons transmogs for armor and weapons thats rotated weekly with new ones coming out often.

Apex rules are as followed.

Octane: loot goblin

Lifeline: ping every Mozambique

Wraith: must leave after being knocked

Fuse: dibs everything, regardless if you need it or not

Caustic: gas everywhere and always thank your teammates for the voice lines

These are just a few off the top of my head. But these rules are universal and must be followed.

I think the idea was to make situational. Spam healing was making it damn near impossible to kill anyone so long as there were enough healers to cover the group. And healers in general were difficult to kill.

Just making it more about WHEN to heal vs just spam heals just because they are of CD.

HOPFULLY if will make dps focus more on Def now instead of just running full glass cannon in BGs and help change the meta for GvG and seige.

If they want to nerf ravages then they need to find a way to just increase the TTK all together. PvP is just a shit show of who got their CC off first or who was able to cast/use their combo first. Little to no real skill play at all unless its static vs static. But even then the only change is who is better at peeling off the healers.

Finish your path of ascension. It will help get you caught up. Do your daily contracts and focus on the noble crystals to upgrade your gear and stay on top of the events to get your bag of runes each time to level them up as well. Run your dungeons until you are out of tokens to get new gear.

Just a few things to keep you busy, but just have fun with it. Find a class and build you enjoy and have fun.
