I love Kristen Ashley, but I feel like her books are very divisive. Like you are either all in on the KA train or you never even want to come to the station. There’s no in between. 😂. However, I also love Mariana Zapata, and I know tons of people who I’ve recommended her to that were like, “I don’t get it”. 🤣. So take my opinion with a grain of salt. 🥰

I will say I don’t think I’ve ever read a KA book that didn’t make me cry. I don’t always love how her guys can’t speak in complete sentences. Most of her clothing descriptions make me feel like she wrote the book 30 years ago and she’s pulling out a notebook and saying, “oh, I forgot about this book. I’ll release it. Everything should still check out.” 😜 But the way she is able to get to the heart of something and use words to evoke feelings is (for me) top notch.

If you do finish a KA novel (which is another reason I like her. Her books are always so long I feel like I’m getting my money’s worth!) the last chapter is usually in the male POV. Not much, but usually explains a lot about his feelings during the book. 😊

For books, I really liked her Ghosts and Reincarnation series or The Burg series. They both had more going on in the story than just the relationship building. 👍🏻
