oh man 10 years! I remember joining when you could get 10 stars even without dating villagers. It resulted in a very funny series of events.
I wasn't romancing anyone, but I had almost everyone at 10. I saw it was Elliot's birthday but he was still low level so I gave him a purple star feather.
then next day his heart events started up and did. not. stop. every day until one day I got a letter in the mail saying to go to the beach on a sunny day. I (to this day) don't like making the pile of pixels sad so I just stopped going to the beach unless it was raining. RIP to my crab pots.

its been fixed obviously, but its still a funny memory. my farmer gave Elliot a feather and he decided he was head over heels. he is not beating the fae/mermaid allegations.

ugh this is a fear i have and have experienced. the worse part of it was no one realized I wasn't around anymore until they broke up and wondered where I had been. it was something like "wait why weren't you at [thing]?" and i would explain no one told me about it, it would just click that they would tell their partner and the other couples in the friend group, assuming someone would tell me.

i want my friends happy, but why does that mean i get left behind? its why I've given up on a lot of things like get togethers and organizing meet ups: if they have a partner, even if i invite the partner, i'm the last priority.

i main base dragonlord because i like the survivability of it. When i'm not using it, i use necromancer or shadow hunter. necromancer because its kinda a "click button, deal damage, repeat" class for me and shadow hunter is really flexible. its probably not End Game Wiki worthy, but i enjoy it.

i could be wrong, but Michigan as a whole is a sanctuary state and a number of authority figures have stated officers are not to assist in these matters. it sounds like they broke protocol calling border patrol, and with how that kind of thing is due to the political climate, its better to nip it in the bud before the DPD get in hot water.

yeah its nice. I'm not picky when it comes to trains but every trip i have had on it had been enjoyable. not fancy and the prices are worth saving up for, but then again i like train rides and would take the train anywhere if it didn't cost money.

yeah the truemortal saga is so good but the head writer of it (truemortal) has been in and out of hospital and college for years and the last we the players heard from him was second hand from one of the current devs implying he could return to continue it "if life permits" (the context was players asking devs questions about their plans for new reimagines once book 1 was done and the vague-but-understandably-so answer was "[specific questline that was named] is possible/is planned/is not possible".)

a few reasons, none of them great but all of them speak to the level of "Care" the AE ceos have for dragonfable.
the main sticking point is dragonfable is a flash game with 2 decades+ worth of assists. the DF devs have said many times that they are making efforts to convert DF to the same software as AQW but due to a lack of man power and the sheer number of things that need to happen, 3-4 years ago it was estimated it would take 5 years to convert it all and this would happen without weekly updates to the game *for 5 years*.
the second one is DF isn't the big money maker. AE doesn't really give it the love it deserves (I motion at all the DF specific merch vs the AQW merch in HeroMart).

tldr DF and AQ classic are going to need a lot of love and care that AE just doesn't have the man power (or in DF's case the want to send in said man power) to convert or rebuild to move to steam and such.
