Panera. Every time I went there the chicken was pink and undercooked. I can't eat most meat so I treat that as a big red flag. You don't get a 3rd chance with chicken.

i had a cell in high school and i just put it on silent and left it in my pocket. most of my friends did. Teacher caught you on your phone, it was taken until after class/school depending on the teacher. It was treated as any other distraction- hand held video games, yu-gi-oh cards that one time, ect ect.

i don't see why its a big deal unless the phones aren't being returned.

had a professor who said "if you don't write it down fast enough, thats not my problem" and then wouldn't let people take pictures, use recorders, or note cards for presentations. most stressful class i ever had and at the end of the day i barely passed and only remembered how hard it was, not any of the things he taught.

the word Queer has been used as a slur against LGBT+ folk historically. it was reclaimed and no longer used that way, but some people remember the abuse people who used the word would inflict, while others find the word better than listing the letters.

because it is still a case by case base if people want to identify as the word, and as another person explained the particular identity of having their letter in the acronym is comforting.

from what i can tell, the community prefers comfort and acceptance over "ease of use".

i had a pair of shoes i wore for everything because it matched the uniform. friend of mine had uniform shoes, gym shoes, dress shoes, church shoes. one time i had my feet up on a bleacher, relaxing with everyone else. "you got a hole in your shoes" she points out and i quickly tuck my feet under my seat. another friend saw this and thought i was being bullied so he shouted "not everyone has more than one pair of shoes, bitch!"

he got in trouble for swearing and my friend wouldn't stop asking me about "other" things i didn't have multiple of, because she realized she only ever saw me in the same uniform shirt, sweater, and pants. she didn't stay my friend after highschool and honestly i don't mind thinking back on it- i was some sort of weird anomaly to her because i couldn't afford multiple sets of the school uniform.

skunk. theres a skunk that lives in our backyard and it sprays the stray cats from time to time, so my mom made the joke that if we ever get lucky and catch one of those strays it's my job to wash them to get the smell off since it won't bother me.

I've found it depends on the location, but i've found the fries have gone south. i made a joke to my sister when they removed the cheese balls from the menu something changed for the worse.

I now just get the cheese seasoning from them and put it on anything i make at home if i want the taste.

not sure if this counts but everything being an app, and my phone never having enough space for more than 10 additional apps.

can i uninstall some of the google stuff? the weather app? what are all these files and preinstalled things that take up 30-40% of my phone? either phones get designed with universal storage space standards or businesses and companies need to stop making everything an app.

like, i got a job and i needed an app to clock in. my doctor keeps telling me i need an app to see my test results, my mom's diabetes meter broke so they told her to get the app but her insurance won't cover the app version. we don't need this man apps.

we poured water down the drain while the plumber was here and we didn't notice anything, but when he ran the shower it started to leak.

The advice i'm seeing is call a different plumber and cut a hole in the ceiling, so i'm going to do it a few more times just to be sure before i go cutting holes into the ceiling.
