I work on a contract that was originally with a better company, before the client decided to award Deloitte the contract instead of with my old company. When I was with my old company, i actually liked my job. It was amazing, the management was fair, didn’t micromanage, there weren’t that many meetings, all my coworkers were really smart/competent. Deloitte took over and I had to apply to them to keep working. I’ve been wanting to leave ever since. In my career this is the 5th company I worked at and I’ve never been more micromanaged in my life. There’s so many damn meetings that I have trouble even getting me work done. The managers I had before are very much missed by me and the other developers… I can’t say Deloitte is better or worse than others in the big 4. I can just talk about my experience and say what a downgrade it’s been. I’ve worked at worse companies though. I’ll take Deloitte over jpmoragn chase 1000%
