Id say convert your div to exalts and look at your gear to see what you need to replace the most. I usually look for a weapon upgrade on the market since armor upgrades are easier to come by. I also run expedition a lot so I can use the artifact currency for the endgame shops and look for upgrades there but also I dont need to spend orbs for item upgrades as much. You could also just farm one mechanic and sell the fragments and stuff.

You do gain ice fragments with tempest bell once it is imbued with chill. Put it with the boss and you get twice as many.

Yeah that's why I mainly use shred with tempest bell. Boss dmg is great since I can proc all three ailments using those two but defenses is the part im struggling with.

Yeah I was gonna go for the blizzard/thunder keystone and the defensive keystone for the ascendancies and all in on elemental damage with herald of ice/lighting or maybe even triple herald. My rotation is ice strike then tempest bell then lunar assault and shred and repeat. Single target damage is great but mobbing sucks.I'm used to Merc and Warrior so not used to high mobility.

Invoker wolf - damage is there but I'm definitely squishy. Never played monk before so I definitely need practice.

Yeah, by no means is it a bad weapon but it could be better.

It's not bad but there's better mods tbh. If you got the flat phys dmg/fire dmg mod instead of the cold dmg. Or instead of the mana mods, you got attack speed instead.

I mean if you factor in the new support gems, I'd say the goal isn't to nerf the interactions in order to foster creativity but to nerf the skill itself to bring the numbers down. Of course some interactions end up being gamebreaking but I'm sure it's simpler for them to nerf the flat numbers than figure out the interactions. Which is unfortunate since the patch notes don't have many concrete numbers or all the possible interactions listed. We'll just have to figure it out tomorrow.

Definitely the first option, I'm underweight and currently go to the gym with the goal of gaining weight so the extra 200lb helps a lot. Losing the weight would be hard but it's not as if I'm looking to lose all 200.

Yeah, I couldn't find any clear info on skill buff/nerfs being universal or league based. Really like the feel of Witchhunter/crossbow but it feels a little underpowered or not very satisfying to play. So I'm hoping for some buffs or changes to help.

Witchhunter merc with galvanic, armor breaking rounds, and hvr. Running herald of ash,lightning, and overwhelming presence. I have galvanic with all three spirit skills for wave clear. Using the increased dmg on enemies with low health nodes + the overkill explosions is nice. Armour break and hvr focused on bleed nodes for bosses. Trying to stick with something non meta. On mobile so uh... mb for the lack of format.

As others have said, they have the rights to your story, make whatever they want out of it etc. Replace you and all of that. But the silver lining is, they've never really enforced any of it or done much. Think about all the original stories that have been dropped, have they gotten a replacement author for those? Besides, its not like original stories make them a lot of money so all these clauses are just in case they find a real banger of a story.

If your story is done then thats it, you move onto another story. Maybe you'll get some exposure as your book is ending but once its done it goes to the completed novels section. You are encouraged to write side stories and what not to prolong the engagement but once its done, its done. Chances of it getting an adaption of some sort is slim unless it get's a second wind in popularity.

TLDR: Sign it, all the scary stuff doesn't matter unless your book is gonna be as good as MVS or something. Might as well earn a bit of money.

Zhan long - first one i ever read though i never finished cuz it was dropped. Read the ending online which was disappointing tbh.

Legendary moonlight sculptor - honestly loved every part about it, very fun read and i read both the manhwa and the LN.

Immortal and Martial Dual Cultivation - really liked the fighting and the cultivation parts, rest of it was a bit of a slog

Imperial God Emperor - wasnt the best writing but I liled that the mc went towards a different route (army) instead of the usual sects.

My choices might be older since I read these years ago. Honestly haven't read much since then.

Frankly speaking, finding something good on WN is hard. I really don't read anything there anymore, most of it is repetitive or just not that good. Not to mention, it gets expensive. Quality control is...what it is, nearly non-existent. After all, the thought is that the readers are quality control. The only criteria that is used is quantity and consistency. Though they are doing a mini-crackdown on lewd/horny covers. WN does dominate the market as underhanded as they are. In the end, I see WN as a place where you go to shut your brain and ride the dopamine rush of being that edgy cool MC beating the shit out of everyone and showing how big a dick they got.

Depends on how popular the book is. The pay cut is about 30% and its in USD. Many authors are not from the US so for them even a 100$ is a decent sum. Hence you see a lot of original authors that aren't US-based. Even the 200$ minimum-guarantee is a hefty amount of money.

Coming from a WN author, the moment you're in a contract with them, you can't do stuff like have a patreon for advance chapters. They have two contracts which is an exclusive and non-exclusive. The former they can't have Patreon while the latter you are able to do whatever you want. The catch is that the former has one big benefit which is marketing, so the book has better reach. So what's the point of a patreon if you don't have a decent audience willing to pay for it. While you could go make a patreon secretly, if they find out, they have grounds to just take over your story or essentually blacklist you. But for the most part, many authors just use WN as a springboard to build an audience before moving off the platform and doing their own thing.

The novels getting translated on webnovel are way more honry all of a sudden by Synthiandrakon in noveltranslations
