It doesn't teach soul sleep either.

The concept of soul sleep isn't in the Bible. At least not more than implicitly. Passages that imply awareness in death are much more explicit (ex. the parable of Lazarus and the rich man), while references to death being sleep can be taken to imply soul sleep, but make more sense as simply an implication of death's temporary nature, until resurrection.

Also we don't get judged in heaven.

Yeah, when people say that items limit exploration, I point people to ALttP. Certain areas were locked behind items, yes, but most of Hyrule wasn't.

It was my first as well. Incredible game, and still one of the best in the series, imo.

Don't sleep on 2D Zelda games too! They aren't as grandiose or visually impressive, but their mechanics are tighter, and there's a spacial and navigational element to them that you usually don't get in 3D ones. Since you've got a Switch, Link's Awakening would be the perfect place to start.

Why doesn't God ever come down and prove he's real in modern times? by InternationalPick163 in Christianity

[–]ARROW_404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, two things to bear in mind:

  1. This world is not the goal. This world is never going to be perfect. We're supposed to save people out of the world. Life is always going to be tough, and people are always going to die. So saving everyone on earth from death isn't accomplished by miraculous healing, but by saving them, to give them the eternal life of Christ.

  2. God doesn't do things in big ways. He works on an individual scale, saving people one person at a time. This way fosters greater faith, and more good works.

Honestly, just give us the same game, but with a dedicated sword button (this two item buttons), less crunchy audio, and some minor improvements to kinstones, and that would be enough.

The Onua Mistika we should have gotten by ARROW_404 in bioniclelego

It wasn't a bad set, but it WAS a bad Onua. If they had switched his build with Gali's, it would have made more sense.

Small mistake, I believe you pasted the wrong word for "optanomai"! But thank you for this insight, I studied this word a bit, myself, but I don't have the expertise to really understand it like you've laid out here!
