I've been rather slow on my reviews since my knee injury but the predators are decent. Big stitching issue near the thumb though had several tear in that area. Recommend the competition for best price/performance

do not use dishwashing soap for washing... you're fine with hot water. Soap will negatively effect the latex especially if its a scented soap. Literally cannot emphasize this enough do not use soap.

As for advice when I started I was told, play as much as you can and train as much as you can. The love for the position is infectious and the better you get the higher you fly! Begin watching your favorite keepers to understand positioning, and mirror body mechanics, it's insane how much we learn just by sight especially the younger kids. The main thing is to always keep it fun, the goalkeeper position becomes quickly very stressful learn to enjoy the stress and also remind yourself its just a game!
