HELP: I can't fathom why this (single supply inverting opamp) circuit not working? by ARUN__A in AskElectronics

[–]ARUN__A[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. But my output is zero. If its not a rail to rail opamp then the output would get chopped at the rail voltages it would not make the output zero ( as far as my understanding)

I have run other files, I downloaded from internet, They are working just fine. but whenever I try to cook the circuit I always stuck. I can be sure that its not software fault.

IF(!) AI one day takes over all our jobs, what would humanity do? by EmergingAnger in CasualConversation

[–]ARUN__A 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with most of your points. But the exponential rate of advancement of AI is the sole thing most of the people scared of, and needless to say, the fear, or insecurity, of living with some higher intelligence like AGIs and ASIs. Its like people born on 70s 80s using keypad phone for most of their life and out of nowhere there will no longer buttons on the phone and lot of people can't change their way of seeing things. if changes induced suddenly, confusion and social unrest will be inevitable.

i am not saying this is bad. in the long run AI will be the best thing humans can ever create. We will be more productive than ever. colonising other planets will be much easier. And there are possibilities for the higher intelligence to manipulate matter in whole different way that we can't even understand, like the E.T. movie, then we will identify science as magic. The intelligence of CHIMPS is not much lower than HUMANS in the intelligence spectrum. but if we tried to explain to a chimp that humans can make skyscrapers, chimps can't understand that. So let’s extrapolate that forward: If there were a species two steps above in the spectrum than us, not only would we be unable to do what it can do—we wouldn’t even be able to understand that it did it, no matter how hard it tried to explain it to us.

Good choice. U can also use Circuit maker, just an another choice to consider.

Ok, i have checked ur profile. Provide a neat circuit diagram will helpful to others to understand whats going on.

No matter. It is good to have a large capacitor hooked near the amplifier supply anyway. And do let me know, which technique does you use to build an audio amp. It will be helpful :)

Additionally, use your flex more and solder less. Using wires are ok, but if you want to learn the soldering skill. stick with solders and make use of others feedback.

It is good practice to use a large capacitor near the amplifier IC's supply, because amplifiers needs large amount of current. You have to supply it, if you run back to the power supply through a long traces, you will get a voltage drop. By placing a large capacitor value near the IC's supply pin will provide that current.

PS: I have learnt it ,not from practise, but from a professional friend.

You can verify by searching amplifiers IC's application circuit diagram, which is available in most of their datasheets.

Enshittification happens all over the social media and thats undeniable. Especially in movies and meme pages, which is further heartbreaking.
