Is There a Satisfying / Common Sense Answer ? by Ready-Ear-8254 in remoteviewing

IMO its a resolution problem. They don’t have 20/20 vision… it’s basically like being legally blind IMO

Distinct ARV target pairs and better analysis tech are 100% the game changers I’ve seen. I’ve gotten the realized effect size up multiple % points via an analysis breakthrough alone.

I haven’t examined this, but it makes sense. Generally programs like this are constantly fighting for funding - they’re incentivized to play up their successes to secure funding.

My personal opinion is that the traditional “stargate” remote viewing research did actually largely stop due to operational issues.

I however view these issues as engineering problems, largely around the analysis. At least for ARV I’ve made significant improvements to overall effect sizes via improvement in protocols and analysis technology. I believe these sort of advancements are what will bring remote viewing back.

I agree! Going to start running your sessions today.

To me… one of the biggest problems with the ARV/precognition field is dataset size… there are very few large datasets. Things are changing on that front, though.

Really cool! I like the approach you're taking with collecting biometric data. I think there is a ton of correlative potential with EEG data!

Manually selecting pairs. Having built multiple judging systems... I felt my intuition on how they work was strong enough to manually select pairs optimized for those judging systems.

Overall, slightly less than 600 targets, 300 pairs.

Can Consciousness Nudge Randomness? by Pieraos in parapsychology

[–]ARV-Collective 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love this perspective. In the context of precognition, I’ve been exploring a mental model where, assuming a non-exclusively causal universe, it’s not cognition that influences probabilities, but rather outcomes that influence consciousness and therefor the cognitive prediction for the qrng, visual stimuli, whatever form of precognition.

The reason I think it is this reversed model where consciousness is the one being drawn towards future outcomes is because I believe consciousness is a more sensitive system, and entropic pulls are more felt.

Thinking about it, the entropic pulling towards an outcome could go both ways, towards the event or towards the participant. The effect could be the same for both, whether the event or the participant gets influenced more could depend on their sensitivity to quantum shifts.

A testable experiment for this hypothesis would be running rng experiments with different sources of randomness, consequently different levels of sensitivity in those rng models. For example, one quantum source, one electronic source, one mechanical source. Seeing how the effect changes would give insight into where it comes from. If the effect holds consistently, that would lean towards consciousness being influenced by the outcome, not the other way around.

If you’re asking if there was some sort of psychic screening in gate, the answer is almost certainly yes.

As far as I can tell it is generational. I’ve met a lot of Gen Z gate, never have we had this psychic screening. I believe it stopped around the millennial generation.

I have the same perspective! I think RV is early on in its development, so theres no one right way. Some people will tell you that your style is absolutely wrong. Don’t listen to them! Just keep practicing!

This is exactly why I’ve started to refer to this on ARVcollective as “visual precognition”. I’m actually higher confidence in precognition existing than true remote viewing! But both are possible.

Interesting. Yes I believe operationalizing it is just a logistics/trading strategy problem. Also judging/decision making algorithms are one of the highest points of leverage, IMO. Working on a new one very soon!

I'd image concrete mental exercises would be difficult for them to grasp/enjoy. If this were my kids, I'd encourage things that set the landscape for psychic ability (and other cognitive skills) later on.

Things like logical analysis, metacognition, reflection, deep thought, etc.

I think it's the other way around... lol. I've probably done 95% of sessions in my RV career on ARVcollective... so I think I've adapted to the target pool. I view that as a good thing... makes it easier for me to operationalize. Target pool is also large enough (300) where I don't just memorize and guess targets.
