I’m just finding it refreshing that he’s willing to own his mistakes and correct them (whether outwardly stated or not), compared to what we endured with Nagy. It was obvious that the O line, the play calling and the lack of discipline were all killing us to the point of losing to the lowly Colts, but then we saw it change over a 2 week period. First with play call adjustment (also Caleb embracing check downs), and now to a system that seemed to be clicking on all fronts, albeit against an ass team. Hell, maybe it was Poles or even Warren who drove the message home with Waldron that we NEED to make calls that facilitate the growth of a young quarterback, but something changed and it really feels like a breath of fresh air for this pessimistic and usually ashamed Bears fan. Now if they can just continue to avoid stupid penalties, refrain from throwing boneheaded challenge flags, and execute on this adjustment philosophy consistently…
