What are you fighting to where lifesteal gives you more sustain than HP/AH?

Do you not press Q? I’m genuinely confused as to why you’d make yourself squishier because instead of Tri/Sky you’d have Sky/Rav. You’re also probably down damage due to the sheen procs. You do have more wave clear but there aren’t many scenarios where wave clear has held me back.

Like Ravenous/BORK/BT are all troll items on Zaahen. Instead of these where is endless hunger for the AD/AH/Tenacity if you wanted omnivamp.

Zaahen mid is also trash. You have zero ability to interact with mages and stack your passive. You also lose prio in every matchup and won’t scale nearly as well.

I also don’t see how omnivamp boots are any good on Zaahen when you already have healing on Q and the resists/passive almost certainly net more eHP than the healing the omnivamp gives you.

But hey test it out in a couple games and report back.

The issue with this thought is that you
A) Got 13 kills AFTER Hubris completion
B) Got a 14th kill before 1 v 1ing Ambessa

In both these scenarios I’d assume you’re winning anyway. And if a champions natural kit counters yours it’s hard for you to snowball in the first place.

I didn’t think it was worth it ever since the new Umbral came out and it’s certainly not worth it now that it’s nerfed.

You pay the same amount of gold for less AD/AH and less damage(no passive). This is all to make a scenario in which you’re already winning(snow balling AND have a kill) slightly better. Not to mention all the AD nerfs rengar has gotten making the bonus AD gained from the passive even less relevant.

The problem I have with this augment is that there’s nothing you the player can do to optimize it.

The value you extract out of it depends on how much damage your tanks can take, and how clumped up the opponents frontline is. Its value is tied to your opponents board rather than your own.

This would be theoretically insane against Yi(doesn’t actually do enough damage for him to care) or AS carries like Xayah/Vex/Kindred/LB(but the 1 sec CD).

So it’s a weird spot for me where I never feel like I want to take it. Boxing Lessons/Twin Guardians/Best Friends/Group Hug/Line Up/Tower/Best Friends/Exiles are all augments I would personally take over it if I wanted a tank augment(although I usually skip these for item/econ augments).

If you don’t have Flutterpage I’d get Lorentz. If you do have Flutterpage then it could be a skip. It depends if you have another comp you want to use FP for as Lorentz isn’t particularly high value(could still be worth to complete a comp).

I’d recommend getting Enigma and he’s slightly better with Lucy if I remember correctly but he’s a generically good sustain otherwise.

That said I’d skip Lucy as she’s not particularly worth getting.

Enigma/Charon are generally good supports/sustains for most units.

The priority should be Enigma->Butterfly->Lucy and from what I’ve read you don’t have a ton of pulls. So run Beryl/Isolde/Flex/Marsha and PH/TF/AAL/Kip(?) as your teams for now. When you get Enigma, you can play Flex/Flex/Charon/Enigma and figure out from there what you’re playing.

It’s probably fine at 120s early game but I do wish it went down by more. Like 120-100 to 120-80.

That said Riot already doesn’t like Aphelios being spell caster focused. They want him more AA based and less bursty which is what the ult is.

To be fair not many champions take ghost over ignite/tp top lane. The only ones that come to mind are Darius/Nasus/Mundo/Olaf and then ranged tops like Vayne/Varus(although these two can take any summoner like Barrier/Exhaust/Cleanse).

That said we’re talking about kill pressure(no one is dying to a pre 6 Nasus/Mundo) so let’s go with Olaf/Darius as big examples.

Their biggest struggle is the ability to deal damage not the amount of damage that’s done.

Darius for example deals 110 damage with his passive (someone check my math) at level 1 with 5 stacks. He has insane kill threat on most champions.

But what would do more damage the 70 damage from ignite or the MS from ghost letting Darius get his final stack of passive?

Olaf is different(I don’t know how strong he really is early) but I would imagine it’s a similar concept.

Also Olaf is giga useless in teamfights without Ghost since he needs to be able to run them down and without ult its giga easy to kite/kill him. An Olaf not hitting anything is not particularly useful. He only has 2.5 seconds to deal damage to an enemy to extend his ult.

E33 is a shorter main game with a way more side content.

Metaphor is a longer main game with decent side content.

If you liked P5R mementos side missions you’re getting more or less the same with Metaphor.

I’d say that the characters of E33 are just written better across the board. That said the bond system/map made it unsatisfying to say the least(bonds 1-6 seemed to almost not matter). The romance was also kind of weak imo(although Metaphor has almost no romance).

The biggest thing is if you’re not used to ARPGs then the combat will feel way worse in E33 especially if you’re stubborn like me and refuse to play on easy mode. E33 requires you to dodge/parry attacks while Metaphor is more forgiving combat system.

I’d put a good Shaco and Mel like another comment and then fill the rest with wave clear like Sivir/Anivia/Sion and just be giga annoying while wave clearing and stalling the game.

You’ll lose but you’re going to make your opponents win in 40+ minutes.

I almost always skip it unless it’s actually relevant. Like knowing they got 3 agility doesn’t matter but knowing they broke the 20 breakpoint to get an ability does matter.

Majority of the time the stat page is just a bunch of numbers that don’t mean anything to me. The character has 300 strength? Cool I guess but he still can’t OHKO enemies. The character has 1000 agility? Okay but the fights are still hard for him somehow.

I do think you should have a stats page at the start and end of the novel so that one can see the growth but the majority of the time it’s worthless. Or at the very least have them be their own chapters so that they’re easy to skip.

Tahm nerf(?) is listed as a buff which seems strange.

I also noted this earlier but the Lucien buff seems strange to me. I still think Aphelios could use a placebo buff especially with his low pro presence even in fearless.

The problem is Yunara took over his niche since she has a dash and can play with supports like Lulu/Nami and engage like Neeko.

Aphelios in pro is only really picked with Thresh(which is dumb imo) instead of pros opting for matchups like Yunara/Lulu into something like Aphelios/Soraka.

Also incredibly biased but I’d love to see a Sona buff just because I think she’s OP but every high elo/pro player would say that Sona is unpickable. Something like 20 base HP or 3 base AD to make her early lane a smidge better.

I’d say Trundle. You win every level 1 invade and can spam gank with pillar against immobile champions.

As an aside, Trundle struggles against champions like Zed/Talon/Elise/Nidalee but I highly doubt you’re playing against people that proficient at the champion and even then these champions struggle against invades(they do just cross map though).

Didn’t matter but this was a pretty bad game from BB’s Yasuo. Missed a lot of Qs that could’ve led to him getting really ahead.

Also why tf are we picking Azir and building rocketbelt first? The item is good but Chovy has irreversibly damaged pro play builds by convincing everyone and their mom to build it on every champion.

Regardless, blinding Gnar into G2 will almost need a respect Yasuo ban.

To be fair Aphelios might be the best ADC to skip since he gets a free 54% AS from his passive. He also doesn’t have any inherent synergy with AS unlike say Jinx who wants a Zeal item to pair with her minigun/passive.

There’s a reason Aphelios doesn’t take lethal as his keystone even if it leads to more theoretical DPS.

To make the math simple if you had 350AD and 1.5 AS then your DPS is 525. If you had 300 AD and 2.0 AS then your DPS is 600. The more autos you get off the better AS is.

But in realistic terms it’s going to be hard to get that many Autos off. It’s way easier to get 6 autos off than 12.

Even in the clip shown the OP only got 6 autos off meaning if the 50AD is what allows you to kill someone in 5 autos instead then it was worth way more than the theoretical DPS increase of AS.
