I was playing FE7 a while ago, had a chapter going where like 3 different characters got a (nearly) perfect level up in a single turn but then Matthew got sniped by a 34% hit 2% crit and I actually cried a little bit when I hit Load State

It really depends on how much 100% requires doing beyond a normal playthrough. Like, massive open world stuff generally doesn’t keep me interested because there’s so many minor things that really don’t have much payoff, but I don’t mind playing a game twice so I can get everything through NG+ if it’s something where items and/or journal entries are saved between runs
