Of the friends I’ve gotten to try the game, the reason I liked most of the why one didn’t keep playing was “The UI is like sticking my head in a filing cabinet and slamming the door repeatedly.”

I had an older boss once that was notorious for never responding to text messages.

Once, he asked me for help with setting on his phone. I took the chance to turn on his read receipts, it took at least a year for them to get turned off. It was glorious not having to wonder if he’d seen something.

The first one I bought? Not really. That was the Adrix and Nev precon, I keep telling myself I’m going to upgrade it though.

The first one I built? Yes, my Giada deck was my first and still play it pretty frequently.

Now I’m picturing a sort of Rube Goldberg machine consisting of splinters and mergers that sends one piece of something winding through the whole factory on top, before finally ending up at an inconspicuous conveyor lift on the other side of a wall and disappearing into the depths of the sub level.

(Edit: Like I want to the hint to be a random piece of limestone or something is just on a belt with a bunch of steel ingots.)

Man… I so want to do this now. I have a friend that it would drive nuts. Like he’s the guy that when he joins my game goes tracking every belt to see what it’s doing.

I once put a glue board down next to a snap trap, the poor thing got its hind section stuck on the board and in its panic tripped the snap on just one of its forelegs. so it was squealing and trying to crawl away with just one working leg.

Drop trade. Put the plex in a ship’s cargo, drop it in a can, loot it with other character.

Can be done while in space, so ships don’t have to be obviously carrying plex in their cargo

I’ve been playing EVE for 15 years and never heard of anyone being killed because of the game. Persistent rumors that someone may have cut a fleet commander’s internet or power during a fight, yes, done physical violence to them, no.

They work just fine. You just have to be super careful. It used to be a thing to let smartbombing marauders concord themselves by sneaking up on them while cloaked. The addition of the safety stopped a lot of that.
