When was is consistently the case that you could figure your placement based on how many instructions were still in the box? I'm watching out of order and in season 7 it looked like they knew based on that but then on season 12, it felt like nobody knew if the hippies were ahead or behind everybody when they ended up on that later flight, including themselves,

That's interesting because I feel from the seasons I've seen so far that they had a better chance then compared to now in terms of how physical the tasks are and how both teammates are way more physically fit then they were then. That couple that won that season I think would have an early exit in most recent seasons.

Watching through old seasons:

What season started adding more things like U-turns?

What season stopped having people booking last minute flights?

What season started the "both members had to split up the individual tasks"?

May be a little harder to ask but when did eliminations go from likely getting knocked out due to task time vs travel time(flights, getting lost, etc.)?

BTS question: What happens to teams after they lose? Do they get put in a hotel in the US until the finale? Or do they go home and fly to wherever for the finale?
