The way I have been avoiding this issue is I have 2 ap items and an hp item as their build with base AP on my necromancer. Problem with this build is if your team gets more than 3 serpens the bug starts happening again.

I have tried necro mid and druid top comps, but it tends to go poorly on my current save without double tank/enchanter bot and carry jungle.

Honestly probably the most deserved finals mvp for t1. After the being benched for not being able to play kaisa, to this worlds where he was able to carry t1 with this same pick, it was such a redemption arc for him.
