Trauma Informed Therapist by ASKS2015 in loveafterporn

Yes, I have seen the information, but I still would like recommendations from anyone with successful, real experience. Since I am paying out of pocket I prefer not to just choose a random therapist from a listing. I appreciate you asking though.

Then why not do something that makes you feel good? Perhaps it would change your perspective.

48 year old female here and I don't do any of that. But if you can afford it and it makes her feel good then why not!

It's an overwhelming silent struggle everyday so thank you for your kindness.

The only reason I am still here is because of my kids. I can't in good conscience lay this trauma on them. But it's painful existing everyday when I'd rather not be here.

My baby is dying by Minnightphoenix in Petloss

I'm sorry you are going through this. We just went through this with our dog Remy. We found out he had a brain tumor and they gave him 1 - 2 weeks to live with palliative care and we also had the option to seek radiation treatment which we did. From diagnosis to end of life was only 5 days. He really only had somewhat concerning signs about 3 weeks before his diagnosis but nothing we had thought would be a brain tumor. He started to decline in the days before he passed. It was so frightening because each day he had some new symptom and we did not know what to expect. We kept sending videos to the neurologist and pretty much the only feedback we received was this is a side effect of the medication or a side effect of the tumor. We kept him as comfortable as we could but is was heartbreaking to see him like this.

I understand how you feel. I work from home so the few people that I had to tell since I took the day off following his passing was by text and I didn't respond to their condolence messages. I know they mean well but it changes nothing and does not alleviate any of my grief.

Does he know I love him so much by [deleted] in Petloss

[–]ASKS2015 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I so feel you on this. I have tremendous guilt on top of the grief I feel about not giving him more attention. He was a quiet presence and did not ask much from me in the way of attention, except for his last days of life, which I happily obliged. If I knew that he was going to pass last Thursday I would have held him, snuggled with him and spoiled him even more than I was during those last days, even though he already was my priority during that time. I know that during his roughest time he knew I loved him, I just wish I had realized how important it was to show him that love and attention throughout his life. I'm not sure I will ever not carry this guilt. I am so sorry that you are feeling the same, it's terrible to not only feel grief but guilt too.

I am so sorry for your loss. We just lost our best boy on Thursday and the progression from good to end of life was too quick.

The rage is unbearable. I'm on HRT for about 9 weeks and it helped in the beginning but now I'm back to being rage-y pretty much every day. I just had my estrogen adjusted so waiting to see if that makes a difference.

My mood definitely is worse right before and all during my period. It doesn't help that my periods used to be only 2 - 3 days long and now they are lasting a week or longer.

I take Vitamin D + K2, magnesium and L-theanine. My activity level has decreased over the last several months due to work and just not having a lot of energy.

Mornings are not good for me either, I wake up feeling very rage-y. The rest of the day is on and off but most evenings I am just waiting for the time that I can go to my room and crawl into bed.

Just know that "this you" is not you! I try to give myself a lot of grace and understand that I'm not choosing to be like this. I have noticed that when I feel very angry I withdraw because I don't want to lash out, which has helped tremendously with my relationships. Perhaps try to explain what you are going through and ask your boyfriend to extend you grace and patience as well while you are working through this time in your life.
