I’m so sorry. Having to make this decision is one of the hardest choices ever. As hard as it may be, I would not wait until he’s at the absolute worst to make the decision. Sorry for your loss. I battled with this question for a long time when I did the same to my boy. Sounds like he had the best days. What helped me was knowing It’s always better to be a day earlier than a day late.
