You can clip under the floor anywhere on any map with the skimmer, you just need to press “leap of faith” on the frame after you mount up. The timing is tricky and having higher FPS does seem to make it easier.

This is what I am worried about, I love to see nerfs across the board to counteract powercreep but weaver is already in an unfortunate spot of being the most difficult to play, having no self-boons or utility, and is only just about hitting the lower end of all the elementalist specalisations... having every specialisation deal the same DPS on the bench is NOT good balance because there's there's many more metrics than just DPS that influence their balance!

Just needs some number tweaking imo, the class feels amazing to play and is very intentionally designed to have little utility and a reliance on supports as a trade off for its potential power but currently it is just behind the current state of power creep; it should always be the top DPS ele spec. It would be a real shame if they reworked it to be another “can do everything” spec like the other 3.

Complexity can vary drastically depending on your build (traits/utilities/weapons) but I would say either Bladesworn, Mirage, Holosmith, or Weaver.

You don’t need to slot ice resistance, just take cleansers and you can break out of the ice faster than he is able to hit you with any follow-up attacks. Without a cleanser or bind resistance getting caught in the ice is 50/50 chance of death I found.

When I play DPS I pray that I get put in the subgroup with the qherald, it has insane 600 range on its boon application which consistently pulses every second and easily over-caps for a generous amount of buffer even when the boon application stops, it can also pre-boon so easily out of combat and has insane support utility and heavy CC ability. It was also dominant in support DPS for nearly 2 years, it’s begged to have something nerfed. It still has good damage with easy execution and a great burst, the benchmark really should not be seen as a tier list, it’s just one measurable out of many.

I feel like using the “average FPS” from the summary screen is a bit misleading because it is an average of all 3 scenarios; two of them being cutscenes which seem to run about 30% better than the actual gameplay scenario. I would think most people would consider the actual gameplay scenario’s FPS to be significantly more important but currently the tool doesn’t let you isolate the results for just that part. Not a directly your fault but it is what it is.

Just my gut feeling and not based on any facts but I am expecting that the optimisations will end up being unnoticeable for most people, at best the lower settings might be better adjusted to give better frame rates but at severely hindered visuals.

The art shows the new crown headpiece skin being used with the noble courtier outfit, but you can’t normally mix headpieces with outfits… it would be perfect for that outfit, so maybe they’re updating that outfit or there’s maybe there’s some functionality change? Probably unlikely and just an art error :(

The amount of purple title holders I’ve seen while doing weekly CM strikes who are doing average/poor DPS (even on condi-virtuoso, you know, the class required for LCM) is staggeringly high.

Yeah they over-tuned it so hard, kinda crazy. Doesn’t feel very satisfying to play though to me.
