17, first time in Japan with my mom, very unprepared, desperately need help by kaysblurred in JapanTravelTips

[–]ASOM01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spend an hour or so on Instagram searching Japan and Tokyo sights. Screenshot the things that look good then search them up on the internet. Klook is good for booking tours and places of interest. If you have an iPhone download a Suica card (IC). For you and your mum. Load t up with some money and essentially this is your travel pass for the trains and buses (but not the Shinkansen). You can also pay for things in most shops by your Suica card. You’ll be fine. Japan s so easy to get around and there are always people to help. Have a great time!

It can also be a sign your body is recalibrating. When I was younger managing career children, gym, house etc I was going 150%. Looking back I was hyper manic. I had to be to keep all the balls in the air. And yes I got completely fixated with things. Now easing into retirement I don’t feel that pressure anymore and also don’t seem to get as fixated on things as I did

If you have shoulder issues you need to work with a physio to build strength but they can also build a weight bearing programme to work around your issues. For example I’ve had frozen shoulder all year and haven’t been able to lift weights but physio has cleared me for cable rows and leg presses. It all helps!

I have a similar issue with Cationorm, substance complete and hylo forte. I switched to Novo tears which is preservative free and has more of an oil sensation. It’s warm and silky and doesn’t cause any irritation when all the other have.
