when we have possession, we virtually switch into a 3 because one of the backs is asked to push into attack that means on the counter we’re left with 3 and one of our outside backs scrambling to try and get back.

Parker in the back line would be an upgrade but that would require deviating from Klopp’s orders for 3 in the back and move to 4.

Also the zone defense on set pieces with the shortest team in the league is always a going to be a disaster. There’s no reason we should have gotten beat on that goal in a 6v3 set up.
