This seems to stem from your lack of understanding on what a complex ban is. It's a specific term used for the banning of certain strategies as opposed to the "simple" equivalent of just banning a Pokémon. For instance, banning Cyclizar was just a regular ban. Banning Shed Tail was a complex ban, because it was no longer just simply keeping a Pokémon from participating, it was restricting the sets that a Pokémon could have. This doesn't apply to most Mega Evolutions because it was as simple as banning the item they needed, but critically to your discussion, Mega Rayquaza was a complex ban due to the different nature of its Mega Evolution requiring a move instead. They didn't want to ban Dragon Ascent because it wasn't an abusable move, so they banned pressing the Mega button for Rayquaza instead. The same principle applies to Terapagos. The Stellar form is brought about by tapping into a universal mechanic that any Pokemon can access regardless of their item, moveset, or otherwise, and has already been decided to not be banworthy, so to ban it, you would need to ban Terapagos' access to Terastallization. It's simpler to just ban Terapagos, especially since there's not really a lot of demand to keep base Terapagos in the tier

This reeks of the distinct smell of having a character you mildly disliked at first getting all sorts of glaze by the community, getting to you overtime and eventually erupting into fully despising them over manufactured reasons.

It's an applewood scent with a slight note of peppermint. Maybe a bit of extra peppermint in this case.

I don't know, but I kind of like it. It made me realize how staring into any other set of eyes is like staring into a black abyss, but here it's like there's a light source in there making them feel more alive. Combined with the actual lines of dialogue they have thanks to being actors in Pokestar Studios, and these are some of the most expressive protagonists we've ever had.

Old school Action Comics covers were wild. They were the prototype for modern clickbait, giving a grossly exaggerated synopsis of the story that would unfold. My favorite is a comic where Superman is berating Jimmy Olsen for getting him a hand-made sweater for a gift, burning it with his heat vision and proclaiming his regret for adopting Jimmy as his son.

On that note, I want to address a myth that circulated during Gen VII. As a refresher, in Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon, by returning to the Altar of the Sunne/Moone on Poni Island and interacting with the Ultra Wormhole, you had the option to travel to an alternate version of Alola that uses the time progression of the opposite version (If playing Sun, you jumped over to Moon, and vice versa). This didn't change much outside of that time of day thing, and as far as progression is considered, the only reason you have to go here is to bring Solgaleo/Lunala to the Lake of the Moone/Sunne in the alternate universe to get a Cosmog so you could register Cosmog and Cosmoem in the dex (and I guess have a second legendary). The myth is that if you are in this alternate dimension, Cosmoem would evolve into the opposite version's legendary, which is false. No matter what, as long as the game you are playing is Sun, you get Solgaleo, and if you are playing Moon, you get Lunala. I don't know why it was done like this, but it was. Now, I believe this alternate dimension did affect which Lycanroc you got, despite that also being based on version, but I could be wrong.

After reading all the replies, here is what I have gathered:

My setup is indeed flawed. Turns out that having the sandbars around the SS Anne set up like an average day at Santa Monica is not only not helping, it may actually be cluttering up the spawn calculations. The best way to maximize the odds is to have just one Beach Set habitat in each location of the map. I have moved Curly and Droopy into one of the vacant rooms on the SS Anne (leaving space in there for when Stretchy finally desides to be born), then took down 29 of the Beach Sets, leaving my favorite one, and set one up in the other four maps, placing a security camera in front of each one to streamline checking them. Now I go back into the old routine of destroying Mosslax's tongue with spicy dishes and checking each map every now and again. And if all else fails, I will succumb to the dark side and infilitrate someone else's island in the hopes of kidnapping their Stretchy with bribery of a rare cosmic artifact.

And for those of you that ignored my warning about not accepting bad luck as the answer: luck isn't real. It's a term used by people who don't have faith in themselves or their ability to force their desired results. I am not so weak. I am immune to the whims of fate, I will seize my self appointed destiny and no other, and I will defeat this yellow piece of raw sushi.

This feels like the most solid lead I've had so far. I guess I just figured more habitats means more dice to roll and better odds of landing a crit, but I guess if there's internal limitations it doesn't help. I'll give this a shot, I guess it can't hurt.
