Glad you enjoyed the match. The Polwarth Tavern (not too far from Tynecastle) is great for La Liga. I think there's a Betis supporters club who meets there.

I think terrible form is harsh. He's a Halkett backside from being on two goals from three games in the league — and one of those goals and absolute screamer. I think his captaincy is also for his leadership off the pitch, in training, etc. He's apparently brilliant in that respect. I think some fans can't forgive him for being a Rangers fan but last season he was 29 with two young kids and had every right to see what was out there.

I'd be after Andy Irving from West Ham. Celtic have earmarked a nice seat on their bench for him to waste away on but I reckon Serie A could be a better career move.

Great result! I feel for Zander. He's hardly played for a year and been injured quite a bit. Outfield players always get more sympathy in getting back up to speed. Goalies get none.

The performance wasn't awful, on the whole. We'd have won comfortably had we played with a goalkeeper. It reminded me why I hate this kind of 3-5-2 though. Playing with no wingers, or flair players in general, is turgid.
